Merchant classes make far more money that battle classes? Sounds working as intended. If this weren't the case, then no one would craft... that aside, crafters don't literally "make"; they trade around money.

I would not have any issues with this if it was Everquest I and you got 10,000 AA's and each point made you a little stronger. That way I could be much stronger always doing what I do then what a crafter would do.
However, if your both a crafter and combat player you will have a significant advantage over just a combat player, someone who focuses only on one thing.
That is "NOT" right.
Correct, I don't like Zerg content. If I wanted to play Zerg Content I would install Guild Wars 2. They do it much better. Sorry.
Why is that? It's not like there are restrictions to what classes any one can play. Anyone, at any point (after level 10) pick up any class (including non-combat classes) and level them.I would not have any issues with this if it was Everquest I and you got 10,000 AA's and each point made you stronger. I would rather punch myself in the face then stand in place and click buttons. Crafting is so boring, I would rather work at a job.

What does not liking Diadem have to do with anything?
You asked for an easy way to get Materia and Diadem is an extremely easy way to.
It sounds to me like you're just looking for a reason to complain here. You don't want to do content? You don't get the rewards, it's really that simple. Maybe you should play another game.
Materia really isn't a "reward", it's just another grind that they're forcing on players. Instead of requiring a BiS slot set to output maximum DPS, you now need a BiS set + materia (unless you played a class that required materia already for raiding). The worst part is the materia doesn't add interesting stats, so it doesn't solve the boring stat problem people have been complaining about since forever. What does not liking Diadem have to do with anything?

Then why am I playing this game and not another game like Guild Wars 2 with plenty of Zerg content? What does not liking Diadem have to do with anything?

Honestly, that is a poor excuse. Materia should drop from dungeons at a common pace if Dungeon gear will have materia slots.
I wish I could like your post 1000 times. =3Materia really isn't a "reward", it's just another grind that they're forcing on players. But dungeon gear won't have materia slots... Sure, they can make materia drop from raids. I don't think anyone would care though. But you're asking basically for stuff which already has easy ways of getting. And those are also not the only ways of obtaining them (materia was in the game before 3.0). You also have the option of not using materia. Then why am I playing this game and not another game like Guild Wars 2 with plenty of Zerg content?

And being kicked from groups for not being good enough. Yeah, i've already experienced that in many games. Not a pleasant experience. But dungeon gear won't have materia slots... You might as well say: "Quit the game."
You also have the option of not putting on your helmet or chest plate. However, nobody wants to do that.
The difference is, I can get a helmet and chest plate from the dungeons. However, I can't fill the slots doing that.

If you're being kicked from a group because you're not good enough, it's very unlikely to be related to you missing a few melds.
Keep in mind that while the tomestone gear will become meldable, you won't be able to overmeld it. You just get 1-2 materia and be done with it for a piece of gear, as there's 0% chance of any materia getting destroyed in the process.
