Honestly like this better than getting rid of them completely.
There's tons of times I'm not leveling a DoH and I'm just sitting on mine, when my friends could use them for leveling.

It never ceases to amaze me how many problems people can find with this game, before the level cap got raised I (like many others) managed to get all crafting jobs to 50 just fine, on the rare occasion I did run out of leves I, ya know, just did some actual crafting. To this day I still make most of my crafting money from mid level crafts, knock up a stack of HQ thread or cloth on Weaver for example and you'll make a ton of profit and gain several levels in exp unless it's way below your level.

I don't always agree with the cliche that people want stuff handed to them in this game but threads like these do make me wonder, if you want multiple DoH/DoL jobs at level 60 then feel free to go and earn them like everyone else did.

It's fine the way it is for crafters and gatherers, because you can get tons of xp in such a short time with little effort. You can essentially get from 1-50 on a new class each week. Removing the daily allowances would just make it easier for people to exploit the game. For example, if this happened, I'd have no reason not to immediately create 2 alts and boost their crafts to full 60s using items from my main, just to gain access to all 8 crafting specializations. The hardest part would be getting to Illdyshire to purchase the master books.

Now... 6 daily allowances for BATTLE leves is silly, when you consider that most battle levequests give you less xp than a level appropriate fate. They need to boost those battle levequests to be comparable to 2 or 3 fates, at least. You don't even get useful leveling gear for 50-60 battle levequests, because the amber shards that drop only trade in for normal quality jewelry. Useless and useless.

the most efficient way for crafters is to quicksynth 99 stacks of stuff

buy mats -> quicksynth 99 / go afk for 10 min -> have 1 to 2 lvl ups -> sell your products -> profit

I'm just utterly boggled that OP managed to misspell "leve" that many times in a single post.

Leves can actually be a pretty inefficient path to take. I typically got more xp turning the items in to the GC. IDK how many times I got north of 500k for just one turn in of HQ product. Yes, you can only run them once per day... but you'll be hard pressed to find a more efficient turn in than something like one HQ weapon or piece of armor for north of 800k.

The point of these alternate ways to gain EXP are meant to be more supplemental methods, not the primary source. That is why they are restricted. They wanted us to be actively using the job to some capacity.

There's nothing wrong with it, basic MMO design of gaining something over time.

Gather or craft and sell and make some money while you can't do leves.

Apparently no one can read where I said lower the rewards, or gasp, even let low levels have collectibles. Also, no game that has ever implemented infinite mission systems have had the problem you mentioned. The problems for those games stemmed from other areas. It just amazes me people see the title and reply without reading or reading the TLDR.

Bad game design is bad game design. And, I am sorry you had to sit through that. I am not asking for stuff to be handed to me, but apparently people can't read where i said lower the rewards or add collectibles for lower levels. The system is already there, and they just have to add low level items to it. Don't get so butt hurt when things change, or when someone offers a better idea.

That does not happen in reality when you have zero resting buff. But, feel free to prove me wrong. Also, that isn't the most efficient, but it sure is the laziest way. I can spend 10 minutes creating 11 HQ items and gain 5 levels with leves on top of the exp I gained from HQing those items, so yeah. Though this would not be the case for the infinite system as I said to lower the rewards from it or give us collectibles for the lower levels.

Congrats on not adding anything to the conversation. I blame google auto correction in the browser for that. Because, gasp, levee is a real word in English where as leve is not. Leve originated from the Norse language. However, even Square Enix doesn't use the term properly in the game. Leve = Leave, therefore in game it would be Leave Quest (which makes no sense in English as it is redundant).

How are you not using the job doing a leve? You are crafting the stuff in order to hand in, no? So it is no different than just mindlessly crafting one item 99 times. It is actually more fun because you have a purpose on why you are creating that item, albeit in a limited sense.
