This relic isn't a challenge though, it's redundancy.

Patience is a challenge. Judging by the feedback on these boards it is one of the greatest challenges. Redundancy is not mutually exclusive to challenging. In fact some of the greatest challenges to mankind have been insanely redundant and conquered.
