    IIRC, they actually scrapped the idea of attachments (that is, more than attachment to be a mechanic for the job) because they didn't want to design different barrels for different weapon even though what they'yre doing right now could have been a solution for just that...; we're using the same GB model (which in itself isn't necessarily an attachment anymore because WM Exists) for every single gun. To me it feels like backwards thinking. They could have just carried on with the mutliple attachments thing and still use the same model on all the gun, we'd just have three different attachments for different circumstances and well...actually have MCH play a bit differently from BRD.

    It's the main issue for me, and it's right there in the OP

    I have no complaints with gauss barrel whatsoever other than the fact that it's misaligned on our anima weapon. This in my opinion is a far more serious foul than subjective concerns about what colour it should be. It would look so much better if they shifted it down so it's centered equally on all three on the barrels.



    Edit: I fixed it in photoshop for illustrative purposes, it's a Christmas miracle!

    I'm still waiting for them to rename the thing to "Guass Muzzle", seeing as that's what this thing is...

    One would think that having a simple electrified glow effect on the barrel of your current gun would have been a much better visual representation for Gauss Barrel, rather than this thing which works with Kunitomo and not much else, but what the heck do I know... I mean, the lunch box has a little electrified glow when you do Gauss Shot (can someone actually explain why for me?), would it be significantly problematic to take that, stick it on the barrel of your weapon, and instead alter Gauss Shots animation so you throw the Gauss Muzzle on for a single shot, rather than keeping it on full? Dark Knight gets an obnoxious red glow, a full body one at that, for Darkside. A tiny Greased Lightning style effect on my gun for Gauss Barrel seems less intrusive than that... Might clash with all those other obnoxious glows you give our weapons, but I'll be hard pressed to give a crap about that... I'll take two clashing glows over Gauss Muzzle any day of the week.

    Or maybe just got rid of gauss barrel entirely and turned the skill+damage increase into a double pistol skill.

    It was even a skill they showed as a highlight in the initial reveal (which was lacking gauss barrel completely lol) because the animation is great.

    The off kilter gauss is hideous. Yes it makes sense. But with the Ferdinand having 2 barrels and 1 -gauss hole-, 'making sense' doesn't really work at this point.
    Please don't remind me of Musketeer I will cry.
