I would argue the relic gun looks dumb in the first place. But to each their own.Take a look at the ferdinand and get back to me on the realism. This is a game and one of the most important MCH weapons in the game looks dumb because of what appears to be a design flaw. I highly doubt the realism of the barrels rotation was thought out when designing this weapon.
While it looks sort of annoying I can agree it makes sense. It's the floating I hate, I could tell myself it was magnets or something but eh, I just can't buy that, it just looks like it doesn't fit, end of story. I just want to remove the stupid thing, I love the Ferdinand personally but with the guass barrel on it looks so stupid.
Ask any BLM how long it took SE to fix the orb alignment on their relic. That's how long you can expect to wait.
after watchin GB and how the skills looked i decided to stop leveling MCH.... even then i main BRD so im already playing MCH .... MCH looked so fun on paper when SE talked about it... /sigh

Jeez, if the design team are going to be that lazy with the Gauss Barrel, at least give us the option to hide it. Its look doesn't even change to match the gun model, making it look tacky at best and plain hideous on most, if not all, guns at worst.
I had hopes it would come with a unique GB but this is SE what was i thinking.
The colour of the GB matches the dark gold accents on the gun, so that at least isn't too bad.
There are plenty of reasons to hate GB but let's not get sidetracked. The main issue here is that its positioning is misaligned because they only centered it on one barrel, instead of making it equidistant from all three.
Doesn't quite explain every single astro globe having their own card holder or even cards with their own back designs, unless every single astro globe just happen to come with just that (same with quivers to an extent)So yea it kinda sucks but it is lore wise however finishing the MCH questline I think it is reasonable to say that they may find a way to add in a quest that allows you to customize the look of your Gauss Barrel much like they plan to introduce glamour for summoner pets. Mean it could be a goofy quest where the Leader of the MCH guild is thinking of ways to encourage people to join and he comes up with an idea to allow people to customize the look of the Gauss Barrel cause some people might not like the fashion clashing with the gun they are using, so you are sent on a quest to get mats to test the efficiency and ease of creating a new Gauss Barrel that can be easily customized without losing the efficiency of it's ability lol.

Thats not really the main issue , the main issue is that SE didnt consider making a unique Gauss barrel to the relic because as they stated before they do not want to create gauss barrel with each weapon , when in reality they are doing so with BRD quivers and AST decks, they were waaaaaaaaaaay to lazy with this the logical thing would be to atleast give unique models to relic , tome and raid guns of gauss barrels , 2 holes for example on Ferdinand at the very least, and a different looking gauss barrel for Armageddon. The colour of the GB matches the dark gold accents on the gun, so that at least isn't too bad.

And if they wanna be super lazy too, they can just give us the option of turning it off like Dark knight Darkside effect.
You guys!
Quality over quantity. They gave us a quality lunchbox with the first gun, stop expecting large quantity of quality! Gosh.
