It is always crap. Always. Just look at the joke of Hunts and Fates. When I play a game I want to be immersed in the experience... not be watching Netflix so I don't cry tears of boredom.

So you get immersed standing around town plugging away in a glorified lineup to play a linear piece of content you have experienced several times before?
Just because they haven't done any open world content right yet doesn't mean they can't pull it off.
and the whinning continues...

Did I interpret that right? Thought so.I think it is always crap. Always. Just look at what I call a joke of Hunts and Fates. When I play a game I want to be immersed in the experience... not be watching Netflix so I don't cry tears of boredom. I don't like open world content, so don't let anyone else have it.
Go check out GW2's dynamic event chain meta events in their newest expansion if you want to see some well done open world content. Just because SE has so far sucked at implementing open world content that does not mean ALL open world content is bad.
You can pretty much do that with like 90% of the content in the game just not hunts and fates, cause person just reruns the same content for 3 months before getting new content to do the same. So doesn't really matter if it open world or not.
---- "Maybe this game is not for you. Go find another game."
Im not going to lie, making the world more and more open is a great idea, but its going to take time. To do more, we're going to have to wait for the ps3 cut off date. Right now its just not possible.
Actually, don't stop asking for Open World content ... in fact, don't stop asking for anything at all. Most of everything people will ask for will, almost always, get ignored. But it helps the community and the team grow together - to get all these ideas and thoughts out there for people to brainstorm over. No matter how strange the request, it could always spark a creative thought to help the game grow into a new direction and give ideas to the right people to make new and interesting things happen. What you shouldn't do is ask for something without any context; for instance, simply stating you want open world PvP without anything to add to it. Actually throw ideas out there, events and such that could make such a thing interesting and fun to play through rather than just for the sake of sneaking up on someone and stabbing them in the back. Don't tell them that you want them to think of better ideas for dungeons/raids/trials without adding any ideas for it yourself for people to break down and discuss.
Throw some big ideas out there, let people discuss them, and allow it to spark some new creativity in the minds of others.
