Back during the 2.X series we complained peacefully, telling SE their questline was outright boring. Not exactly a great way to let SE know how to fix something
What has changed in 3.15 ? Nothing. They even implemented more atma.

And in shouts.
I dont care about demanding content I just want something different to do and not more recycled content. Honestly I would rather have less content but good Content.
No more recycled content please! This game has so much potential.
i still love the game ^^ call me wight knight or whatever you want.
the only reasonable complaint i see so far are the stats for the weapons wich are not the best for every class.
That's right.. how is SE supposed to know if they are doing things right or wrong if people do not let them know. When something is bad of coarse there are more people talking about it because people care about the game they are playing and want to see it improve and get better.. Blind love for something is never a good thing because one day you wake up.Plenty of people are posting valid criticism with descriptions of exactly what they don't like. You're just not reading them so that you can dismiss us all as 'whiners' and pretend there's no problem.
The ironic thing is you're only hurting yourself by dismissing complaints. If people don't see any response to their criticism and feel ignored then they'll just leave, and do you know what happens to MMOs when lots of people leave?
it is not that they just leave either it makes it hard to get them back or even to try other of your games. One thing is gamers are allot of times loyal and in some case to loyal.

Same here and the only suggestion I really have for SE would be to let us use our ESO Tomestones to buy the HQ items from a Vendor or something. That way we don't have to spend 8-40 million gil depending on how badly your MB is being price gouged. As far as the actual grind itself goes I have no problems with and I plan on completing it.
It's funny, atoli, you say if we had a constructive argument all neatly set in one thread, the devs would be able to see what is going on and fix it.
Let's be generous and assume that actually happened. People would then claim it was "a minor issue" and beneath the notice of the devs. It also would not be as visible, provoking the existence of threads. Even with multiple threads, and posts of people deciding what to do with their subscription, there are people trying to be SE's spin doctors, saying this is the vocal minority, or other MMOfans working propaganda.
When does this get upgraded to a honest concern players have, Atoli? Remember, this is the 2nd relic.

If memory serves... I could have sworn I remember them saying somewhere they'd either not or probably not do something like Atma again, too.
They listened to a lot of our feedback, actually.
People said requiring Titan was too hard, so no hard to clear fights are part of the relic quest anymore.
People said they didn't like running the same content again and again when everyone was farming light at Garuda, so this time, SE created a system where you could choose yourself which content you'd like to do.
People said they absolutely hated going through whole dungeons only to get cheated by the RNG god at the end, so this time, we just have to go through dungeons without having to hope that it somehow leads into progress.
People said they hate RNG in general, so this time, there is an elaborate token system in place that lets you work your way up in a slow but sure way; and the only remaining RNG-based step became skippable (along with droprates of crystals that are nowhere near as bad as Atma droprates were back in ARR).
This is a classic "Be careful what you wish for" situation. Yes, relic quests are generally tedious and boring these days. But they are, partially, because the forum once went through an incredible whine period back when people couldn't get their relic because of Titan.
That there should be new, interesting content involved in getting the relic is a valid complaint, but it's also quite unrealistic, since creating new trials, dungeons and raids requires a lot of funding, manpower and time, and they are already pressed on all of that going from 3.1 to 3.2.
The fact that the dev team tends to listen (and sometimes even reply) more to less panicky threads should tick you off on that it's probably not the most wise move to create a plethora of doomsday threads shouting "I'm unsubbing!" and then still being around months later, as we've seen again and again here. It's funny, atoli, you say if we had a constructive argument all neatly set in one thread, the devs would be able to see what is going on and fix it.

And again, I never said there aren't honest concerns or that there aren't things they need to fix - in general and even particulary about this relic quest - but the way people are doing it is having the opposite effect of what they hope to achieve, because 1. pure whining and theatening is not gonna help to find the flaws, it 2. also drowns out the comments that ARE trying to be helpful by showing a breakdown what they consider wrong with content XY, and discredit an entire forum to the comm reps by acting in a way that is just downright embarassing sometimes. Especially those unsubbing theats, they only work so many times until you realize those people are still around after their 5th threat, so you can basically do whatever to them because they won't leave anyway, no matter what they tend to say.

Then it is also very unrealistic that SE will see my money again on FFXIV.but it's also quite unrealistic
Also, there is a middle ground between requiring titan (which was endgame content back then) and what we have now. I've never seen anybody complain about chimera and Hydra.
Yeah right, lets choose between pest and cholera.People said they didn't like running the same content again and again when everyone was farming light at Garuda, so this time, SE created a system where you could choose yourself which content you'd like to do.
What this game have to offer since HW? 2.0 recycling (Boss mechanics- quest- events- recycling FTL )
So…. if Forums opinion doesn’t matter, same for reddit, facebook and twitter (same complains everywhere) , cuz we are all "minority" where should the devs looks from player’s opinion/feedback?
What a ton of PF doing FATES probed? Lots of my FC mates was doing that yesterday (cuz they never did zeta... cuz was too grindy...) and type: ¡this is so boring! After 6 hours ---> log out
You will see those PF go down in less than a week and all the maps desert again. If they all quit Zeta then, they will quit this soooooo fast.
