I could make an argument in the same vein that the rods are way to thick to be "strings" for any kind of stringed instrument, as they're just as thick as the arrow.

This Thread is more fun than the other one.
Im so glad I fell in love with dragoon on xi and have reborn into Eorzea as lancer. All those years were worth it now as I gaze upon the epic XIV combination of spikey gear and elegant pose. Makes me want to make once character of every race and rank up lancer to 50 on each one so I can have a personal dragoon army on my account. Thank you SE for making dragoon look so damn good looking!

its just a god damn fancy looking bow holy crap people
That's no harp. To me it looks like something that would increase the velocity and the momentum of the arrow fired. It could be more than that but I instantly came to this conclusion upon seeing it and based on theory.
That harp looking thing is actually the dragoons wyvren![]()

I'm still baffled at how people only notice the harp part of that bow. the other half is a dagger. look close. I'm going to assume that the bow can pull apart for music and close ranged combat. But if you ask me, that is a fusion weapon, and I like it.
If you look at the arrow you can see that is nocked crooked. I don't think it's possible to shoot an arrow like that...

Oh yeah, because all the tool tip pictures for harps in FFXI totally looked like that. In fact, the FFXI pictures of harps only have 3 strings in the tool tip description. So I say the harp attached to the bow is at least one string better. :Pno this is a harp: http://cdn.harpcenter.com/images/ext...PedalHarpL.jpg
