RELIC WARNING!!! READ BEFORE YOU DESTORY YOUR ZETA!

So this morning I was super excited to start the new relic. After reading the patch notes and seeing -



I trusted that I would be safe to proceed with allowing the quest to destroy my Zeta. Shortly after doing so, I made my way to North Shroud only to discover I didn't have the option when speaking to Drake. I pulled up reddit and found out the reason I didn't have that option is because there is quest that MUST be completed with your Zeta. The patch notes failed to give this information. SE should take responsibility for their negligence and provide those who found this out the hard way with a replacement relic or implement some other type of fix. They have no problem posting in previous patch notes which quest would be needed in order to move forward. So why skip it this time? SO If you have a Zeta make sure you go to North Shroud and confirm you completed the quest 'The Vital Title' before you do anything

I dont think it's that far of a stretch for SE to assume that if you finished your Zeta weapon, you didnt get lazy right at the end for the very last quest in the chain and actually finished it up. Honestly im more curious why so many people didnt finish that quest to begin with.

It might not have been intuitive it even existed, like the Pharos Sirius followup quest that blocked unlocking Pharos Sirius (hard).

I'm so utterly pissed off right now. I can't get a replica of my Zeta weapon because I didn't do "The Vital Title" quest? Oh I'm so freaking livid.

Really tempted to just cancel my sub at this point. So many shoddy things. The patch notes made no mention of this. I had the f-ing Zeta so how was I to know I needed to finish another g-damn quest in order to be able to replicate it?

We've confirmed that there are instances where you are unable to purchase a replica weapon even if you possess (or possessed) a Zeta weapon. We're currently looking into a fix to address this.

Thanks, that's a bit of a load off my mind, because the Zeta is still my favorite glamour for fist weapons.

Why would you think you did? You get to start Anima with out having done Zeta after all.

You can buy replicas for the old relics up to the last stage of completion. Example: If you got to Curtana Nexus (PLD), you can buy a replica for Curtana for anything up to Nexus.
