Can't buy zeta replica?

Now people on reddit are saying you can't even get zeta without doing that quest so... I am at a loss.

That's not true. I had my Zeta before completing The Vital Title. It's simply the quest that completes the questline.

This is true. That final quest unlock the option to buy the replicas from Drake.
In order to do that quest, you have to still have your Zeta with you.
In short: all the players who made their Zeta but left without doing that last quest, and then gave their Zeta for the Anima today, won't be able to complete the quest, thus won't be able to get the replicas.

I just don't get why people skipped the last quest from the chain. It's litteraly "speak with 2 NPC next to each other".


Edit: Darkstride is right, I have misread what seida said. "The Vital Title" quest conclude the saga, but the Zeta is obtained the quest just before.
