Can't buy zeta replica?

Would it be possible for once those of us who trade Zeta in can use the copies to complete the title quest?
I had completed my Zeta recently and since I have a WHM and DRG relic in the early stages the NPC's in question always have the red markers above their heads and I did not realize I had one last quest since I hurried along. Now knowing that the quest was incomplete I'd really like to complete it for the title. and for my replica of course...

I really hope they give us the weapons back so we can complete that quest. I'd hate to have to do a whole new Zeta to get that achievement. Though I'd be okay with only having my Ragnarok Zeta back.

We've confirmed that there are instances where you are unable to purchase a replica weapon even if you possess (or possessed) a Zeta weapon. We're currently looking into a fix to address this.

Any update yet? This should have been addressed by now. Please implement a fix with the next maintenance.

Aw geez, this really sucks for those who fell into the code-trap.

But, sounds like the devs are working on it. Shouldn't be too hard of a fix... they just have to make sure you completed the pick-up-your-Zeta quest and then make that a pre-requisite for the "The Vital Title" quest instead of looking-for-zeta-as-equipped to be the pre-requisite.

I'm sure they'll ensure that anyone who ever got a zeta will be able to get the glamour-zeta and not have it lost. Just sucks that you have to wait

Hopefully they can do that in a hotfix rather soonish.

I shall wait patiently for a fix. It's my favorite weapon in the game and I've put well over 250 hours to obtain it. Fingers crossed!

It appears that Zeta weapon data (for those who've completed the quest chain properly) is permanently added in user data at the moment of trade and you can get replicas after losing it. Before that you can get replicas only with Zeta in your inventory.

But to clarify, even if you have the Zeta in you inventory UNLESS YOU HAVE DONE THE VITAL TITLE QUEST, the option will still not be available. The very first thing I tried was talking to him with it in my inventory.

I was way too broke to do a Zeta when it was "in" - I finished the quest, got the weapon and the title, and the "Zodiac Complete" on my screen - I figured I was done with the quest entirely, and I only wanted it for glamour. Now I'm being told to "just go ahead and do another weapon to Zeta" by GMs and customer service. That is their resolution. I hope GMs here are being honest and they're really looking into a fix.. I am just devastated.

Would you like it better if the devs give you the zeta back and reset your Anima quest back to pre step 1?
