Hell I consider myself a hardcore endgame player in every other mmo I played dedicating nearly 30-40 hours a week doing endgame progression content alone, and I even call savage a waste of time. Why should I waste that much time bashing my head against the wall day in and day out when in 2month the gear will be worthless vendor trash.

    Normal coil was the maximum difficulty the game should of been, considering content has a 1/2yr life cycle. IT was challenging but people could clear it in a reasonable time considering the life cycle of the content. IT was a garbage design but a hell of alot more balanced then it is now. Savage should of remained title only.

    Oh and alex normal does not replace normal coil for those that argue that. IT is a pathetic joke which a group of 8yr olds could clear without much difficulty.

    If they made the gear last for 2 years should that matter? I have NEVER understood the MMO population. Did you have fun doing the challenge? If Yes - awesome glad you had fun. If No - then no matter what the reward is you wasted your limited free time on this earth doing something you disliked. I'm sorry.

    It seems like all we are going to get in the future is more crystal tower/void ark type stuff and more grindy stuff like diadem. I think alexander and savage alexander will run it's course but I wouldn't be surprised if the next few floors of alex had it come to a abrupt end sadly.

    The community in this game that forms a static and does the more serious raid was already rather small. If they make the rewards parallel to the content that is just easy grinding, even the people that would like a static for harder stuff aren't going to bother as much. Why wait for your friends to log on at a particular time when you can just go with strangers to grind stuff?

    If you were playing zelda and you could go do a difficult water temple that would take you maybe a few weeks to figure out for a neato shield that looked cool or do some easy forest temple in a hour for the same shield in maybe a drab color... Which would you do?

    Odd, I was under the impression that this is the first MMO to reward players for tackling hard content with pretty much the same reward that you get if you didn't tackle the hard content at all and replaced it with 'glamour', 'timed exclusivity' and 'sense of accomplishment.

    Can you list me a series of MMOs that doesn't reward players with way better gear that what they have if they didn't tackle the game's hardest contents? To help me believe that the 'olden' days were truly as you say, I mean.
