Ultimately, the Zetas are a complete weapon, storyline, what have you. It's over. The Anima weapons are a completely different thing, thus it wouldn't be that half-finished barely made of wood relic it was I started a year ago.
However, the fact that this brand new weapon, a new story, may essentially be made of the essence of your old weapon is intriguing, like it gets to be reborn or reincarnated.
"See? I'm useful again now."

Sorry but I guess it's just a difference of opinion and how much a person values little pixels or not.

Oh well.
I don't think its a matter of how much a person values it, but how they choose to value it. Like for example, I think its a giant waste and "disrespectful" to all the time I put into it to just let it sit there entirely useless instead of using it to aid my progression, because spending the time to level the weapon was always about that uphill climb in value to begin with.

For all you know, the first step is focused on building up the secondary steps of the new relic, and turning in your old one transfers over the stats. Conjecture to prove a point doesn't get you anywhere.
