It is a convenience not a game breaker, like they would waste the time, when there's about a 100 other things, like it or not, people who do hardcore raiding aren't in the majority.

Strong feelings, I personally would like them to see to a ton of things for raiders and non raiders a like. Hopefully they will get a lot of them done at some point, but saying its a waste of time is kinda crappy, don't you think?
This was the last I remember hearing about it, from this interview.

Yoshida: We’re thinking about it but whether or not we do it is still to be determined. The decision hasn’t been finalized yet on if we will implement this at the start of Heavensward or in a subsequent patch like the patch immediately following Heavensward. We’re still trying to make that final decision. That being said, we are considering options of a training opportunity with no rewards. For example you could focus on just turn three, phase two and work at getting better at that. There is a high chance of that being available to start practicing at the start of Heavensward.
And even less care about stuff like Lord of Verminion but that's none of my business.

Someone said something about just keeping going without your cooldowns, I'm sorry but when you are learning a scripted fight where you need to be doing the same routine over and over having to change and use cooldowns differently every time will only hurt you in the end. You need to be able to go through your routine when your doing hundreds of attempts. Not to mention when you have an extremely tight or even impossible dps check.

It's really annoying to wait for Battle voice to reset.

You will have to explain to me how not needing to sit around doing nothing is "hand holding," in my opinion its QoL plain and simple, it doesnt affect the balance of the game, or give newbies and casuals an advantage in any way, all it does is allow me to get more fights into my allocated raid time because we arent waiting around for ages.

this aint a terrible idea. signed.

That doesn't really fly if you have a Paladin that's including Hallowed Ground in their cooldown rotation for a tankbuster. Sometimes there's not really a way to work around it (A1S is a great example as you can't have Sentinel up for every Hypercompressed Plasma, Rampart by itself isn't enough to mitigate it even as overgeared as we are now, and Bulwark/Sheltron don't work on it at all).I dont understand why you guys would be waiting for cooldowns when you have not cleared a3s yet. My policy on progression is just keep going without cooldowns because there is no sense in waiting for it. Hell if my PB is down i'll still go. What? on A3S we lose 1% worth of hp on boss compared to waiting on CD's. It dosent make or break it. Now when we reach enrage, then that is the time we wait for CD's. Because at that point everyone has seen the mechanics, little details on how to do those mechanics etc. and now we are optimizing the DPS.
What's the point in wasting people's time in the instance by making them wait for skills? Seriously, how does resetting your cooldowns when the encounter itself has reset even qualify as "hand-holding"? Most statics only have a set amount of time to raid, so if we already know why we wiped and there's no need to sit around for several minutes rehashing how to do the mechanic or trying to figure out what went wrong, why are we wasting that time twiddling our thumbs and looking up stupid cat pictures on tumblr?
