Raiding = 90% waiting 10% Fighting.

When my raid group is in progression mode and close to downing a boss, this is the most annoying thing. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND why the devs haven't fixed this already? My groups been together since coil 1. That's a lot of time wasted on waiting for CDs. For anyone who says "it's hardcore to wait on cooldowns!"...what? I guess it's hardcore to do nothing or not have everything planned. I mean... everyone has their own opinion on whats hardcore. Lol. Whatever floats your boat. But I don't consider it hardcore, just a waste of time.


Doesn't this just confirm how Zergy raiding has become? Really, I don't disagree cooldowns should reset. I just wish it wasn't "Zerg the boss until you win."





What I'm reading is "I don't know what zerg actually means but I'll use it anyway." The entire point of zerging is to overwhelm your objective with multiple disposable units (i.e. zerglings, cheap and easy to make). If the encounter resets, it's not zerging.
Adding my vote to this, from morale standpoint as well. Wipes in duty finder happen quite frequently and if people are still rearing to go they start right away as stoneskin/protect get swiftcasted. But now the dps is actually lower since cooldowns are resetting while we are fighting. If skills reset with battle reset that wouldn't be an issue, and people would dread wipes a little less.
This should be a thing, just how tp bars became a thing, long needed addition too.



+1. They should also reset evertime you enter an instance. It's so annoying when you enter a dungeon after having just changed class in the wild and have your skills on cooldown. Pointless.
