TP bars being visible makes it obvious who isn't doing their part. No dps will ever be sitting on full TP.

I notice them when healing a lot because they are usually the same DPS who don't move for mechanics. I generally ask if something is wrong by name and that will snap some of them into actually doing their job once they realize someone is watching. Sometimes it doesn't and those are the people my usual tank and I kick on principle. I'm more than happy to carry or help someone who is struggling or learning rotations but not someone who isn't even trying and just wants a free ride. There is another DPS out there in a huge queue who actually wants to play the game and I'd rather have that person.
In Void Ark I just get the DPS who you notice isn't taking any damage only to realize they are locked out yet again hoping no one will see them coasting for a free run. WE SEE YOU. I assure you healers notice that and for a split second I think you are my 'good child' because you aren't standing in mechanics and then you immediately become the one I wouldn't heal even if you were suddenly inclined to participate.

I saw several today in my Ark run. Granted I havn't spotted it as much when I tank DPS wise (as I am not 60 yet) but I do see very often healers who only do just that. Really irritates me and its only cus as a healer I always attack and heal. Only had 1 healer who actually said he had been told to never attack but when I said something he started attacking all he could and he was a level 52 Whitemage with us running Satasha normal.

Given I have been back in 2.0 content on an alt recently I haven't seen this much. When dps or tank (I only heal with a touch of blm) is not doing well I generally check gear first. Often find gear not correct for the class or no gear at all, usually missing right side. I offer to craft gear for free if they are on my server to help them. Or if their attack rotation is bad and I know enough about the class to help them I do. Again even after dungeon if they are on my server. For new players in 2.0 content I run into about 1 in 5 that tell me to get bent. The others really try harder. When it comes to 3.0 content I have run into a different mind set, more often than not if dps is really bad and it seems like no one wants to try, I give up and take a 30 minute crafting break.
As a healer I noticed this in Void Ark - ppl always getting dmg and when I look what's up with them I almost always see them just standing and doing almost nothing - also those pesky dps who instantly go back when they're not being rezzed within 3 seconds. it drives me SO mad. I get it, it's just Void Ark and not AS but stop being an asshat and do your part if u want the loot.In Void Ark I just get the DPS who you notice isn't taking any damage only to realize they are locked out yet again hoping no one will see them coasting for a free run. This is our future. Our story.
I love healing 24-mans; either I DPS full-time, or toss a regen/shield on the tank and AoE occasionally and do something else. Unless something goes horribly wrong, there's no reason for 2 healers per party, much like there's barely a reason for 3 tanks (really, you only need 1 for most fights since CT, Void Ark is especially bad about this, and even some that need more can be done with a DPS "tanking")
Though, I've been "tanking" Void Ark mostly, which just means staying in DPS stance almost full-time (even when MTing) and crying about being top or almost top DPS in the raid.
If I do DPS a 24-man, I'm doing it to push DPS...and again, cry over being at the top with my horrible ability to play a DPS correctly (I really need to tank less...damn you tank shortage)
Why is this AFK-ness possible here? Well, the fights not tuned hard (yay casual raid!), and really, you may need only 10 DPS doing average (or slightly better) to pass DPS checks, and the healer and tank checks aren't bad either (though, the healer check in the Ark 3rd boss is a bit crazy if people derp too much). So, people can just give no effort and never be noticed.
Dungeons are a bit of a different game. People have more responsibility, and that can cause issues with people still learning. Newer healers can't DPS and heal fights well, and new DPS are generally bad (and yeah...new tanks). Of course, there are definitely leeches in dungeons too, but they're so easy to spot (well-geared is the best tell) and just deserve a kick.

In Google's era if someone at 60 think auto-attack is the way to go they're just not giving a -fawk- that they're not valuing your time and prolly thinking you're a npc of some sorts. Why care?
Bugs are friends, not souls of war.
i've noticed this in void ark too. a few of my fellow DRG's like in 7th place on the enimity list while i'm usually 2nd or 3rd.

No. Nononono. No. Just no.
If someone thinks it is hard then they should find another job to play. Stance Dancing is so freaking brainless after you run a few dungeons that anyone who refuses to do it will get a nice talking to from me when I'm not playing a healer. Freaking people... Gah. D;
People don't realize Healers have a magical third eye that allows them to see what everyone is doing. If you are being a lazy jerk, I will see you being a lazy jerk. Are you being a dumbbutt and standing in that obvious bad crap? I will SEE you standing in the bad crap. You can't hide. Healers always know!
