Vote kick needs to be adjusted

therefore the only viable solution is to remove the kick option definitedly from teh game and vote abandon in case of stupid attitude of one or many players or, be an adult, and take the penalty, and leave on your own accord.

The amount of people who would just rather be kicked and act like manbabies though... (not that I kick them but if it gets bad enough the option is there)
That wouldn't force them to stop with that terrible attitude. And sometimes you just need to kick someone. I've had a few cases where someone was just so awful they had to be removed from the group. I'd rather be kicked for dumb reasons a hundredfold if it means those truly bad sessions could be dealt with.

Rather simple since we can only vote kick for cheating, afk, offline and harassment. Each vote kick should be reviewed by a gm, the healer had vote kick placed on them for afk, simply for checking stats out on a drop, I can only guess the tank vote kicked me for harassment because I ran into a mob. Neither of these are forms of afk or harassment.

That would mean a 24/7 surveilance in a team of atleast 20 people. You know how many votekick a day happens?

no I agree and siagree, the only way to make them stop is to ban them from the game but that requires

a) strenght
b) understanding that you will lose money (speaking of SE)

80% of the abuse tool is used wrong, the reasons to kick are listed but there is no follow up on it and most people are kicked for unfair reasons or just because they squinted the wrong way ...those are abuse of teh tool and abuse on a player...in my opinion and those should be sanctionned harshly....there should be no space for that attitude none...but unfortunately, people can do and act as such becasue there is no conséquences on their actions, not only that but they are even encouraged in a way by SE.

It's completely asinine to expect 3 or 7 people to vote abandon (regardless of progress) due to one crybaby.

You think DPS queues are long now? This would only make them longer.

Why not report this in-game and not whine about it on the forums? There is no better, or easier, way to control the vote dismiss system. If people abuse it, report them. It's that simple. Sure, it sucks you get kicked and have to wait for a queue again, but the only way to 100% prevent this is to remove the system entirely, and we wouldn't want that. Would we?

It was asinine back then, it would be doubly so if we go back to it now. The pros of the Vote Kick and Vote Abandon systems far far outweigh the cons of a few jackasses "abusing" it.

Well the tank could not have initiated both vote kicks. After you initiate a vote dismiss,, whether it goes through or not, you cannot start a new one for 4 hours.


Also this story is completely one sided. For all we know OP was the toxic one. Therefore I won't make any judgement on the situation since both sides are not present

The pros of the Vote Kick and Vote Abandon systems far far outweigh the cons of a few jackasses "abusing" it.

But you could restrict a little more the vote kick and it would still keep all of its pros.

Like I said in my previous post, make it so that you need more people for the "majority". In cases when one people is really harrassing, or in case where he's just AFK, it wouldn't be difficult to gather a few more "yes".
