Plus the other games SE are bringing out. FFXV and FFVII Remake. OMG. I totally support this game, I don't buy everything in the Mog Station but I get what I want and that is what the Mog Station is for.^ This, look at what they are offering versus the rest of the industry. I am starting to get offended when people act like S-E is the big bad evil company screwing them out of their money. They must be working so damn hard to produce the amount of content they do, way above industry average. They deserve every penny and I am always happy when they do well financially because I love the things they create, it's a huge part of my life, and any success they have means they can keep producing more of this stuff.
To all the people who are saying that all the stuff in the cash shop is meaningless because it's just cosmetic; that is outright selfish. What is important to you might be worth a damn to others.
- If they were to place "Enhanced" Gordian i210 pieces in the cash shop and just reward i200 dyeable gear in Savage, raiders would be furious.
- If they were to place the latest PvP equipment in the cash shop instead of having it available through in game currency, that portion of the playerbase would be furious
- For crafters, items needed for the red scripts crafts or even the gear itself, you get the idea...
There are people whose "endgame" is glamours, or minion collections, or mount collections. Coming here to say "what you like is not that important, it's fine" is nothing but, again, selfish.
"What if they did something completely unlike what they are doing and that they said they won't do!? Well, What then!?"
Is basically what you are saying
Which is kinda...pointless/
Totally support the cash shop if it remains entirely cosmetic. They have every right to make a little extra money.
How is a cash shop that sells little other than cosmentic items making the game unfair? This makes literaly zero sense.
Those aren't cosmetic though... those all serve actual purpose and help you advance through the game.To all the people who are saying that all the stuff in the cash shop is meaningless because it's just cosmetic; that is outright selfish. What is important to you might be worth a damn to others.

My endgame IS glamour, but let's be real it doesn't provide an "advantage" in the game.
also let's be real any REAL glamour nut isn't going to be using anything from the shop that's shop-exclusive (so not counting old event available items)... maybe the dyes? oh wait those are available in game now.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
I've lost interest since last year. I'm only still playing since I bought a year and a half of sub.The cashshop ruined it completely for me. Not that it gives benefits or anything, or that you have to splurge money for some things.
I'm annoyed by the fact that a p2p game that asks 15 bucks a month and extra cash for retainers, 10bucks for name changes, 20 bucks for server transfers and they just decide to throw in a cashshop to put in mounts, expired seasonal costumes and dyes.
I understand name changes, server transfers and fantasias, but if I'm paying a sub, I'm expecting to have every piece of equipment, dye and mount being obtainable by playing the game. Even if it would be a longass grind, insane amounts of gil or something with a 1% chance to drop.
