OK, I want to nip this in the bud early, as I don't want to encourage any SCHs to make uninformed mistakes, so I am going to type this in capitals to stress it so that it doesn't become a trend.

DISSIPATION HAS NO EFFECT ON DPS AT ALL. IT ONLY EFFECTS HEALING "SPELLS".

It does not increase your MND stat, nor does it effect any dot or direct damage you happen to do. This means Broil, Bio, or any other dot you pop will not receive a 20% increase in any form or function.

Dissipation will also NOT effect the SCH's non-spell abilities, which include Lustrate, Indomitability, and Energy Drain, as these are not considered to be spells and never gain benefit from either Dissipation or Fey Illumination. It will not even effect the amount of healing returned by Energy Drain, let alone the damage it does.

If anyone tells you otherwise then they have not bothered to test the abilities with a training dummy, or they are sadly misinformed.
