I bet your Fire III speed coming off umbral ice is so fast you could probably cast it running.

Also I've heard of monks hitting 1.7s with a crazy build and GL stacks. So I don't think there's a cap.

Ley alone gets me to 2.01 GCD with my sub 700 SS. There isn't a cap as far as I know.

I might be wrong, but I feel like UI -> AF and vice versa is the only thing that increases cast time but the GCD stays the same. Queue someone saying Swiftcast.

Yes, there is no hard cap to the gcd reduction, but last I heard, the maximum reduction you can obtain from Speed alone is 10%, so 2.25s base GCD.

All other effects are added after that. Would still be difficult to test as you'd need over 1k spell speed with food but no buffs.

It's probably more a 'you cannot get more of this with current gear' than anything else.

I think it's roughly 72 SS per 1% haste, so to get 10% you need ~720 spell speed from gear; That puts us roughly at needing 1060, which even with Diadem and food, probably isn't reachable at this time.

And besides, you only need to hit 1023 total for a 2.25 GCD, which I linked, like, 5 posts ago.

It's capped at 1.5 seconds. Casting time however isn't capped or nobody got their spell speed high enough. WHM was able to hit the 1.5s cap pretty easily in 2.0.
