We're all paying for this game and have a right to voice our concerns if we think something is a bad decision. Maybe a new thread should have been made specifically for the complaints related to the Free Login Campaign and housing demolition, but then someone would have said "y u no post in other thread about free login campaign!?"

Anyway, now we're actually off-topic. Sorry for the forum police comment.

housing, nice as it is for those who have it, was a bad decision. but obviously they couldnt predict the outcomes. as far as a new thread, i think it would be wonderful if someone made an all in 1 bitching thread. people could pop in, pour their salt, let off steam, walk away. but we, the community can sometimes be special snowflakes. our individual voices need their own threads. every topic deserves my complaints etc etc. anyways, off the forums for a bit. sick today and need to relax.

Do people get mad at other players or just SE? Cause you find people that buy 2-3 cause they had enough gil at the time or a person that has 5 alts and each one has their own house, while people that only have one character don't have a house cause the other player has all the houses bought for their alts. SE did do horrible job on the housing system but players like I mentioned don't help the situation any either.

Similarly, we could make a praise-everything-SE-does thread for people who are eternally optimistic, but I don't think either of those threads would work very well. :P You're going to see complaint posts a lot more than anything else because happy people are usually the quiet ones (unless it's to argue with the unhappy people, or complain about the unhappy people complaining too much).

I think housing was a great idea that could have been handled better. I wish this event had been postponed until December 26th or January or something. I don't want my friends to quit over lack of housing because my friends are why I keep playing.

Ive noticed a trend with people like you in this thread, all your FCs enjoy the luxury of already having a house. Spare a thought for those that are waiting and dont have the option for gardening, choco stables, airships and a just a place to call home.
I was one of those waiting on Tonberry however a nice person sold me their own plot for my FC on the weekend. but you know what after reading the lodestone last night I'm mad as hell for those who are dangling by a thread waiting for these possible plots to free up. SE should actually be making more effort to appease the people WHO ARE STILL PAYING the sub rather than mooches who are unsubbed taking up precious housing spaces.
in regards to not knowing about the login campaign, as well as the reclamation warning emails, the free login campaign announcement emails will also be sent to them.

For real though, people like me ? Im calling people Salty because of the nature of the replies from the beginning up until this point in regards to something that in itself is good, but arrived at inopportune time " for those waiting for people to lose their houses". Hell there was even a reply from someone saying that they wish they could be glad but they just cant and that's saddening a bit. The nature of my Post does not displays that Im not trying to spare a thought. In-fact in my situation comparison, I illustrate that I understand the messed up situation and initially was sympathetic to it before the point of the Bile spewed ruined that regarding that particular individual. Before it even shows that Im trying to show that it's not that bad to warrant the replies in this thread so far. Some of us do understand (and errrm...are not trolls/dicks) that the decisions made up until this point give reason to be upset, and that others " MAY " have to wait Longer, but at some point we as individuals have to reevaluate the situation and ourselves, and keep ourselves in check and not allow that Bile to spew out like Cuchulainn cause people get rekt by it lol. So as I said, you should check yourself because the only thing accurate about the analysis you made was that I have a House. Yes I have the Options to do those things, but I don't (Im sure the Workshop gets Rekt along with the rooms, so why get them if you intend on Moving) and don't enjoy being in the small House. I actually intend to sell my house for the same exact Price I got mines (4.4mil I think) Once I obtain a Large (Whenever the hell that is) because I know that the current situation sucks for many people, and helping out 1 person still helps.

Actually allowing your house to be demo'd would be more noble...that person you sell it to has to pay you 4.4 million and then another 4.4 million for the plot, lol.

The ridiculous restrictions they have against alts (mail, shared housing, etc.) is definitely part of the problem - it basically forces people to buy houses for alts. Also, gardening plot restrictions don't help either - 1 or 2 plots is not enough (which is what most people would have available to them.)

I have 3 alts, two of which are level 60's, one a paladin (Au ra) and one a bard (Miqo'te) and my alts can't even use the MENDOR in MY HOUSE. They are my accounts and it is MY HOUSE. They need to fix it so people can at least share the house they own with their own alts if they don't expect them to go out and buy one for each of them instead.

I was hoping we would be able to but was not surprised when we couldn't.

I get that, but I still Payed something for it...unless the 80% return also applies to demolishing done yourself and not just being away for the Timer...in which case sure lol. Im understanding but giving it up with nothing in return (along with losing the Perma stuff) ? xD
