Iam not the OP but in the next 3 weeks, I plan to trade my wife 40mil gil. She will then in turn trade that gil to my alt character and buy an FC house.

I have no crafting or gathering profession. I earned that gil from march till now.

Same situtation for me, but less than half that ammount, moving server so don;t want ot loose it, so giving it to an alt i plan on playing too.

not to call you a liar, but i find it hard to believe that anyone would earn 40 million gil over 7 months from pretty much dungeons alone, seeing as how most mobs give 50-180 gil each.

desynth all the stuff, sell tons of battlecraft III demis etc, spiritbond gear while running dungeons

he has no crafters at all, so desynth isnt an option for him. sb is the only other option, but that requires getting dungeon drops that can be converted, or buying gear that can be converted, so unless he got really lucky with converts, he wouldnt be making gil at all.

And this is the thing. The amount of times I heard of people legitimately trading millions of gil can be counted on my hands. On the other hand, with how often RMT make new characters for spamming there has to a substantial level of sales traffic to make getting hundreds of characters banned and lose millions of gil worthwhile.
