Half the threads I see here are people asking for glamour, asking for mounts, asking for Lightning Returns, returns, returns again. Asking for Star Wars cross over events. Kingdom Hearts.

Asking for more NPC glamour. Asking for mounts to fly.

Is this game seriously Fashion Fantasy 14? Is that all these casuals care about is playing dress up with dolly?

Glamour is great but come on seriously. Is that ALL the community is concerned with?

Uhm... what do you think "hardcore" players are also doing all that raiding for? The gear they are getting is basically glamour gear as well.. Nice try putting one set of eggs into one basket though.

It's not the main concern but I do admit glamour is an enjoyable aspect because I don't end up looking just like everyone else. Personally I'd rather forgo all the "return" or "bring back" just because I'd rather see new or interesting content and before anyone attacks me, I've missed some events and I don't care about them cus guess what, I wasn't here for it.

I actually like Minecraft because it's a nice creative tool that's also social. In case you didn't know the "casual" market is huge. Square Enix is a business. If you stop playing because thousands of "casuals" find enjoyment in glamour, then SE (nor anyone else) is going to give a crap

As for OP, <insert 'why not both' meme here>. Why does it even matter if half of the threads are about glamour things? There's plenty of other discussion going on about all the things you're talking about wanting. Also, don't forget that General Discussion is not the only place people post.

When I say casuals. As I said, I mean the Bejewelled, Flappy Bird, Angry Birds, Minecraft crowd. Those casuals. The pay microtransactions for everything, to unlock some special little thing, instant gratification crowd. The ones who just want to log in and be like "Look at me I'm a shiny bad ass guy with a sword. I dont give a damn about Final Fantasy lore or lolelitesttooltips

See, I really love Minecraft and I've been known to play Bejeweled on occasion, but I also enjoy this game's lore along with pvp and raiding. What's that make me?
