Your Main Class - Which is it and Why?

I started as a Dragoon. I don't know why I fell in love with it, despite the fact that any boss that looked at you funny killed you, but I did, and even though I don't play it much anymore (trying to fix that) I still enjoy it a ton.

But, I'm a Warrior main now, and have been since Ramuh was new. I leveled it in 2.0 (I remember the "fun" it was trying to decide whether to hold onto stacks to keep heals up or burn them with Inner Beast for an instant heal. I am so glad that was changed) and while I didn't enjoy it as much as DRG, it grew on me over time. I can't remember the exact reason I chose to main WAR over WHM when I couldn't get any raid progression as a DRG, but I can't say I regret the decision. WAR is just too much fun to play, tanking or DPSing. And then Heavensward came out, and I got to 60...and loved it even more.

Long ago I took one of those 'What D&D archtype are you?' online quizzes and it said I was an elven Bard (with the impossible alignment of Lawful Neutral, google it). When I started XI I went the shortest elvaan I could manage and gunned for Bard. It... bit me in the butt as Bard in XI is strictly support making any kind of soloing neigh impossible unless I really overleveled it. XIV 1.0 started as a short wildwood elezen conjurer and once I could change class hopped over to archer then unlocked Bard (cause Bard needed conjurer then). Even picked a hairstyle similar to what I had in XI (long, dark). 2.0 I didn't change much though I did push the boob slider to 0 (if I wanted huge boobs I'd have played a duskwight, biggest boobs in 1.0). I do change my hairstyle from time to time as I like to have my character look like me, guess I'm vain like that.

Bard on Miqo and Ninja on Lala. Bard mainly because I didn't wanna main WHM anymore and back in RO my main was always a Minstrel/Clown. The Nin I just grew fond of~ Fast, fun and I think mini Ninja is cute XD (really starting to like MNK too, also an old main in RO)

Conjurer/White Mage since day 1.

ive been dps in every other mmo ive played and when SWTOR came out i played the Bounty Hunter/Mercenary class which is a healer. they use dual wield pistols to "shoot" green goo bullets at the target and heal them. thought it was brilliant, shooting your team members in the back to heal them lol, loved the class and healing in general. FF14 was my next mmo i played when it came out after SWTOR and picked Conjurer/White Mage since day 1 and never looked back

PLD mostly cause no matter the game I always seam to use a shield at some point if I can... even if I'm the lowest on the Tanking "totem poll" of power at lest I'm save in the knowladge that if u'r taking the mob from me then at lest its not going after the healers/DPS... unless u die later then well slag... also sucks I can't block magic with a shield like I did in Oblivion/Skyrim but meh I'll be fine I hope lol

Though grabbed MCH cause I love guns/ranged DMG (used BRD before 3.0), have WHM too cause friends said I'd be good with it & needed a Healer class to have the 3rd class type

Give me a healer/DPS hybrind that uses a tower shield & a gunsword & I think I might die from shear joy

Gear wise- NIN. Nothing inspiring, sadly. Even I don't know why I picked it up, I wanted THF, and didn't get it. I suppose I would've stayed BRD without it, and my wrist would be all messed up from dancing on the keyboard. Been building up my old main of mnk though, a PS4 controller's made it so much easier, but where it goes is up in the air, its looking good though!

Story wise- MNK or DRK- it kinda fits the parts that stay in my need-to-revise headcanon for Kallera's personality. I love to figure out why she'd say (or in 3.1 case, not say)particular lines in the story.
