WHM, and as of late, AST. Just, generally healing.
Why?
Because, I'm apparently a masochist...
*Voluntarily queues for Titan EX, alone, but for pugs and first timers.... and already has the pony and doesn't care about the heart piece*

WHM.
Usually in MMOs I always play a caster DD. But in XI I started as MNK, then remade a mithra WHM. I really enjoyed healing in XI. So when XIV came around, I thought I'd try LNC, this was 1.0. Found it a bit boring. When 2.0 launched I had a 6 month old daughter, so hearing that queues were quicker for heals and tanks, I decided to go back to my first MMO roots and WHM again.
So pleased I did. I really enjoy it. I do plan on leveling my MNK someday too. :3 I had it at 50 (as a dps for fc stuff if we had healers already) as homage to my first XI character.
~Quit moping, get hoping~

I started the game as an Arcanist because it seemed a smart move to go into the open world as a mage with a pet. I also wanted to play it safe since this is my very first MMO. I wasn't wrong, and now I am a darn good Summoner.
Been looking all over the place for a good secondary class but, to this day, I have yet to find something that FEELS as adequate as a summoner.
After all the leveling and questing with other jobs, I can clearly say I dislike tanking and dragoons new play style. Sad, because I was really good with dragoon in 2.x.

WAR, because hitting things real hard with an axe ish fun.
I don't have a main class anymore. The one I leveled to 60 is unwanted, lol. (Machinist), so I'm currently trying to lvl a dark knight to 60. Problem is, I've done the 30-50 content so much that I'm really bored with it, especially with low level roulette, which should be named tamtara roulette.

Dark Knight.
I have a myriad of reasons why, from playstyle, aesthetic (except for the godawful armor), to just liking big weapons. But I think perhaps the most important thing for me, is that I am first and foremost, a guardian of my friends. I've always played tank roles in MMOs because the role matches how I act, I always try to keep my friends' and family's best interests at heart. However, I'm not one to stand idle when I am unneeded in a combat situation in RPGs, if I am not tanking, I want to be slaying the threats. I take a much more direct approach to defense, if I'm not a tank, I am there to slaughter my enemies, not heal my allies.
Something... something... edginess... shadows... wait... I'm supposed to be a paragon of love and justice!
Ever since 3.0 changed Bard and made it feel less unique with the addition of MCH, I have tried a ton of other jobs in an effort to replace my main since I dont care for it now and so far I can not say which job I will main. I like a bunch of them (not as much as I liked 2.0 Bard, mind you) but out of those jobs I cant seem to pick one to main... which is a real pain when deciding which class to gear up. Right now I have random pieces of Void Ark, Diadem, Esoterics, and Alexander gear for about 5 different jobs. Some of which I haven't even fully hit 60 on haha.

WHM.
Been my favorite class since I played my first FF (FF1, on the Origins release) and I always loved casting barriers and AoE heals, so there's no way I could choose other main. I also love the white/cream/red color-theme of the job on every game of the franchise, and the Holy element (that we don't have, unfortunately).

Bard and ninja. Bard because I really like archer classes in general, ninja because if I had the option I would have started as a rogue because I love rogue classes.
Monk because I enjoy being melee dps, and I can't stand the 2.5 second GCD.
Questing is like participating in an Old Spice Commercial - Talk to me, talk to him, talk to me, talk to him, Now Talk To Me...Sadly, you are not done, back to him, look there, its that mob I never liked, back to me, back to him...I'm in the Waking Sands.
