WHM because I eventually gravitated to the healer role in the only other MMO I ever played. Loved it so much I started with it here and it's remained my main.

WHM is my main class but I started out as WAR because back when I was new I thought WAR was a DPS and found out it was a tank and fell in love with it.
As for WHM, idk I guess it just speaks to me. I like healing people and help keeping people alive. It's weird saying that but it's just something you click with right away and know if you like it or not.
Warrior is where I discovered my true calling in this game (tanking) and the job where I feel I truly shine, though I'm still learning how to be the best tank I can be. I've been learning and playing all the other jobs as well, partly because I enjoy them but also because knowing all the jobs, all their strengths and weaknesses, helps me to be a better tank.
White Mage/Astrologian
WHM was my starting class and the class I feel most comfortable on. When it comes to PvE content, I tend to favor my WHM more (especially dungeons since I AoE for every trash pack). However, PvP is what I chose to be my end game (Savage did horrible things to my old static, and honestly doing the same rotation for 14 hours a week was putting me to sleep) and I tend to AST more.
I love them both equally. I love AST's cards and mobility, but I love WHM's raw power in their DPS (and healing) [EDIT] Except Benediction, screw that skill for being "instant" with a 1-2 second delay.
I actually tried gladiator for a bit but didn't really like being a tank. I switched to archer and am now a bard. I really love it! I love damage over time spells though!
Machinist cause I'm all about them ranged gun type classes.
Friend/recruitment code for special items and things (use before paying first sub) RACN78W5 (updated) info on items here http://sqex.to/Cz9 code is entered via the mogstation.
I've mained so many different jobs...I started the game as a smn main because that's always the archetype I play (if available) in any mmo I play (or game for that matter)
Eventually took a break from that and mained bard for awhile before settling on monk, which I mained until ninja came out. Mained ninja for a while but I had been playing war on the side and I really loved it. After my static got past t9 we needed a tank so I decided to main war. Mained that up until HW launch, where I leveled SMN first, mained it but I quit a week or so after HW launched, came back and leveled war before decided I wanted to main ninja again (especially so after I heard they were fixing mudras) so I mained that until about a week ago where I decided to go back to my original love, smn.
Still maining smn. Probably going to truly stick with it this time. But between coming into HW late and switching jobs various times I'm really behind on gear.
So...smn
Dragoon... Because my cousin told me they were the best DPS in the game in 2.0 and I just really liked the play style.
Dark knight because I hate crappy and slow tanks and because it plays a lot like Dragoon. I probably play DRK more but I consider DRG my main. Just because I take the DRG into raid content but mostly do all my especially with DRK.
Recently picked up SMN and enjoying it. I've tried all the other classes and do not like them.
Dark Knight. I was a Death Knight in WoW, played a Death Knight since WotLK. Came here after 10 years in WoW- Pally tank before Death Knight. I became a Pally tank in FFXIV then they released Dark Knight. It's like WoW2 over here but with a better community, better expansions, and better developers.
Playing DRG really gave me a head start to being a better tank.
I feel I've mastered DRG so I'm working on building up my confidence soon to tank some high end stuff beyond Alex regular (Ravana, thordan)
