A huge THANK YOU!!!! For FINALLY selling the Meteor Survivor Polo on the store. AND a huge thanks to my friend who bought it for me while he was at Fan Fest!!! YES I finally have my POLO!!!
I definitely think that Edmont is disappointed with his real sons, but you get the chance to encourage Artoirel to step it up. I think the real problem is Emmanellain, who has put in the least amount of work out of Edmont's "children".
I think Emmanellain's issue is that he doesn't share a talent for being a knight and combat that his brothers have. I read his mood as feeling his lacking. I'm guessing a good part of his disinterest in being a knight comes from him feeling his lack of courage and talent.
Maybe, we still don't know what is up with the last brother. I am wondering why heirs being left out.
I'm pretty sure he's had that dialogue since finishing the 3.0 story. I definitely remember reading it before 3.1 at least.
Fun fact: Gerun is one of the Occuria gods in FF12. Gee, thanks Elidibus.
Not enough happened for me to be pleased. Just felt like a Thancred pleaser patch.
It was way too short and "oh look a new person to die quickly or betray us" Krile. What I don't like is how these out-of-nowhere characters come from shayalan to solve every problem.
Can someone good with lore explain to me how the place where the majority of the scions grew up and learned was destroyed seemingly 20 years ago but happened in a calamity hundreds of years ago?
I'm not quite sure what you are talking about, tbh. Where was it said it happened in a calamity hundreds of years ago? And who said it?
What we know about Sharlayan, beside it being good at breeding scholars... What we see ingame as a ruin isn't Sharlayan itself, but a colony city that grew quite big and reputable over time. That's where Shtola et.al. are from. And it wasn't destroyed, but abandoned after Garlemald showed interest in conquering all of Eorzea and peace talks failed.
The 'true' Sharlayan, if I remember right, is said to be on an island to the north west of Eorzea? Not too sure about that, though, could mix that up with the now destroyed Isle of Val Krile came from.
But, yeah, the MSQ was very short this time. maybe we will get a little more later...
Ah, a colony, ok now it makes sense.
Should be called Sharlayan ex machina.
Krile was at least foreshadowed back in... what, 2.1? 2.2?
Either way, yeah, Sharlayan ex Machina is getting a tad old, just like the Allagans. At least we got a sort of important character who feels the same way about Allagan crap this patch, though.
