Kind of sad how even with all of the content updates we've gotten that have improved the game we're still not at what could be considered worthy of a release title rather than beta... And it's been a year.

there really is no end game...all the gear right now is random and thoughtless, its plain to see this. i wouldn't sweat it, this game is going to have some major changes before "end game" gear is well defined, everything right now is transient.
So answer me this...
There isn't just to do in the game right now, correct?
Why would they make content everyone beats in a few days? Wouldn't it be better to make stuff somewhat interesting for a while?
Darkhold, the NMs, everything WOULD have been fine if they weren't on 5 minute cool downs so you could spam them all day.
And SE is showing no intention of that being bad, it looks like that is obviously how they want the game.
There's a difference between making long lasting content and padding it out to force it to last with the already horrible drop rate on items. Your idea would only make it worse. So answer me this...

Horrible drop rate on what? Darkhold?
You can spam everything it doesn't matter if it's 1 in a million chance to get something, you could get it in a week.
The point is that you can't make content last longer by simply restricting when you can do the content. Instead there just needs to be more options of things to do in the meantime so that you don't feel the need to do the same thing 20 times in a row.
That's because people have been playing since beta. Honestly, there is a good amount of stuff to do and there will be an overwhelming amount of content for a brand new player after 1.19 and 1.20. People are just being bratty, honestly.
I wouldn't like it... Mainly because if gear gets substantially better every 3 months to the point where you're a lot stronger with the latest set, then it'd only take maybe a year before anyone could solo the previous content because they'd have 4 tiers higher in gear, making them super buff. It would suck... I want old content to remain equally challenging even a year down the road.
Not happening, they already told us level cap is increasing every 1-2 years. They may be talking about level caps for raids but since drops from the a L25 dungeon don't matter by the time you are L40, it just doesn't matter as endgame progression goes.I wouldn't like it...
