Isn't the bunny outfit in this patch just a recolor of the old bunny outfit? Because that would explain why its still female exclusive.
It's also the "sexier" version you see around the Gold Saucer that shows more skin and the bent bunny ears. Also the tights are black and it's guessed that it will have different dye patterns.
I updated the list with the new item names but I am curious about some items... The genderlocked items are the High House Bustle/Justaucorps, Rainbow Bustle/Justaucorps and BUNNY CHIEF gear so I'm curious about the High House Boots vs High House Heels not listed as being listed as genderlocked... so does this mean guys can wear some high heels? Or are there going to be some lies from the patch notes?

As someone cheekily pointed out before, the (alleged) problem would be completely solved if they made the outfits on the guys first then adapted them to the girls afterwards. Since it's apparently so easy to adapt things to female models.
Hmm the Japanese patch notes are the same. Perhaps the 'heels' aren't all that feminine, though; the Japanese names are High House Boots and High House Short Boots. It's a good sign that they are at least avoiding locking shoes and gloves for new items. For those who don't know about the bunny suits, visual aids for the different bunny costumes can be found here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...39#post3400839
I agree wholeheartedly!I really love Minfilia's outfit because it looks kind of ... special ?
Anyway I am fine with it being locked to female chars.
While I have to say the other scions beside maybe Alphinaud are kind of generic armor looking ?
I would really love to see some SPECIAL ( to be interpreted HOWEVER) male locked things.
May it be some outstanding details or what ever but not just ... something that looks like just another shirt :/
I NEED this (dyeable) *le cry in despair*
And we need male hair like that too T__T
Also more tops for males would be lovely.

Hai! I'm Vahl, in ur mmorpgs, sort'n my inventory and putt'n 2 many H's in my name since FFXI..FFXIV Inventory Tetris Champ
I'm tired of the gender locking argument to be honest. Everything should just be available to everyone, if you look bad in it then you do, meh. The gear looks best on girls but I'm fine with it. I can still look fabulous no matter what
the argument for gender locked gear is the lesser of 2 evils. would it be better if it was all unisex?, of course, but as i stated earlier in the thread. if its gonna be unisex then SE can't slack of on how the gear looks on either gender.
We're Miqo'te so generally if we wore some of the female gear it'd look kind of odd but it wouldn't be that bad.
But could a male Roe wear that bunny outfit? Or the some of the other female gear?
One way or another it's going to be a bit unfair. I'd just rather them make it all unisex versus gender locking anything, and if it looks bad for some so be it. I mean I personally thought every single piece of the ST gear was terrible no matter what gender you were. So I just didn't get it. But I'm probably a lot easier going with this than most people seem to be.
