Oh man, you DD's have it tough with being the only ones having to run the same dungeons over and over again for tomestones.

Here's the thing. A good tank may know what a good pull is. That doesn't mean a DPS does. A DPS who experienced expects fast and big pulls despite the party make-up being sub-par for speed runs. So what does the DPS do? He doesn't leave because he can't wait 1-2 hours for another queue, he decides he's gonna be the new tank to cause stress on the healer and the tank.

Well that's their choice, and certainly not how I work. As I said, a good tank knows how to act based on how much the party can handle. These days, 90% of the players at level 60, should be able to handle doing larger group of trash mobs, especially when you got a job in the party that can handle large groups very well. It's called being a team work.

And FYI, in my experience, I've had to wait 10 to 15 minutes, not over an hour for a new queue lol. But then again, I very rarely leave duties, and try to see it to completion. If it's going to be long and boring, I usually pop on netflix or crunchyroll and watch something as we proceed.

Also, as a tank, especially if you're going to do a lot of stuff (ESPECIALLY Alexander normal AND Savage) You *WILL* run into situations where you will have no choice but to grab a LOT of mobs. For example Alex floor 2 is waves after waves of group of trash mobs. Doesn't matter if it's savage or not.

Really? Only 10-15 minutes after you leave? So in reality that's 40-45 minutes which makes my hour more likely and it also depends on what time you're waiting for queues.

Don't bring in Alex or Savage. The players we're talking about probably around running end game stuff like that. They probably will never run stuff like that. Most people don't touch that stuff. Which might explain a couple things about the game.

That's cute. I see a lot of people doing that, and lot of people continuing to do that. God forbid SE gives us some challenging instead of continuously coddling to new players. God forbid tanks have to deal with 10 mobs in challenging situations.

They called it a "challenge" for a reason, and a large group of mobs tests how many mobs a tank can hold, as well as how well the healer can heal the tank, as well as how fast the DDs kill the mobs.

Where I come from, we call that teamwork.

From where I come from, FFXIV endgame is full of nasty people. That's the reason endgame attendance is so low in the NA FFXIV servers. NA FFXIV is full of nasty, nasty players. And challenge? That's silly. It's pretty much pointless to pull large groups if you don't have an AOE DPS. They're still single targeting and the tank and healer are doing more work when they could be helping kill the mobs. There is literally nothing challenging about holding a large group of mods. All I need to do is Flash spam and use Riot Blade. Nothing will leave my aggro.

Crowd control DDs can kill a group of mobs at a faster pace, but tend to be a little slower at single targets. However, single target DDs can kill mobs one at at a time at a very fast pace.

Great, but apparently for other tanks, it is, and that's why they want slower dungeons.

and yes, I agree, FFXIv is full of rude people. I'm one of them that tries to go out of the way to be nice, believe it or not.
