here goes. 3rd party tools are just what their name implies : tools that aren't provided by the game. As such, any form of communication not going on through the in-game text-only chat is done by using a third party app.

and is worthy of a ban. It doesn't matter whether it calls abilities, let you float 20 yalms above the arena, parses numbers automatically so that you don't have to do it manually in 300k lines of combat text, or just eases your communication, a 3rd party app is a 3rd party app right ?


Any other use of 3rd party tools is fine and fair game.

playstation has built-in communication tools you can't argue that voice communication is 3rd party because it is directly supported by the first party developer of the console itself
