This is soo subjective, pretty much similar to all your negative posts. If this type of negativity bleeds into your real life, you must be a very unhappy, unfulfilled individual.Yes I do. I never interacted with said people and treated them more like NPCs then people because I don't know, and don't care about them. It is Duty Finder, I will never see them again.
You never have to engage socially with anyone. This game is probably the most anti-social MMO I have ever played, out of many, and it shows endgame.
why is the title of this thread "step up endgamers"? why is the finger being pointed directly only at a small portion of the community and not holding everyone accountable?
I wouldn't mind wiping a bunch on A1S+ but usually no one wants someone that hasn't gotten through to run with them. Something something me myself and I.
I also wouldn't mind wiping a bunch on T9+ but usually no one wants to someone that hasn't gotten through to run with them either.
Furthermore...ah smh.
wow Tarta

Taking Savage for example sounds really awkward to me. It can't even be accessed via DF. Ain't that the summum of the "Me, myself and I" perspective, to begin with ?
Culturally, North Americans really value the hell out of time, which also doesn't help. Half the replies in here are people not wanting to waste their time, takes too long, can get it done faster the other way. So it'll be really hard to convince some people otherwise. So I doubt anything will ever change.
I think it's important to point out that on JP servers, they will help, but if you refuse to cooperate or take the advice you will get kicked and possibly put on the public blacklist. This also occurs when you quit out of instances before the timer runs out = blacklist. Because people who "don't want to waste time" learning a fight shouldn't be there to begin with and I whole heatedly agree with this. It is about only the "haves" wanting to teach but the "have nots" willing to take advice and learn. If you refuse to take the advice and in turn constantly wipe the team you will be removed. It's a two fold idealism not just on the players who know, but also those who don't. The responsibility is shared.
TLR They aren't going to carry you. You have to learn and put in effort. If you do this you are golden, if not you will never see another PF in their community.
"No 100 <insert reward here>."
they have a public blacklist? As in a list of names on the forums that everyone blacklists? The idea of that with the NA crowd is...worrying.

I definitely run into people who aren't playing super well and one of many scenarios occurs:
1. Nice person give advice and the player in question accepts it gracefully (best case obviously).
2. Nice person gives advice and the player in question gets salty about it.
3. Mean person gives advice and the player in question accepts it, albeit begrudgingly.
4. Mean person gives advice and the player in question naturally gets offended and an argument ensues.
I was doing a leveling roulette and got Stone Vigil NM. The tank was a DRK and he was...uhhh...questionable let's say. I'm no tanking expert, but I have a basic idea. He was face pulling, not using Unmend, not using Darkside, and apparently didn't even have Blood Price (which he should have by this point). I pointed out these things and he actually seemed receptive (also surprised about a lot of it) and when we finished he thanked me for the help and I told him to go check out his quest giver to get those abilities.
That was a best case scenario because he was willing to learn and lesson and seemed grateful. Also helped the other two didn't yell at him, when he was goofing up. I wanted to get in and out as much as everyone, but if I see someone who's obviously doing something wrong I'll maybe point it out.
