I'm typing this with the sincere hope that a representative from SE will read and consider what I'm about to say. I understand the original premise behind the idea of the furnishings being destroyed, as it will help keep the market more active for those items. However, I feel that at this point in time, we have reached a period where that decision is harming the community, and that the rare end game furnishings and items necessary to craft them have become too scarce to allow this design to persist without intervention.
The issue we now face with these items is more than the content being old and outdated, it's that the accessibility of the duties themselves has become limited. The addition of the undersized parties option to the duty finder was an enlightened decision that has given many players the ability to do old content with enjoyment, to gain glamour items, completion, or simply have fun. However, while furnishings requiring EX primals are obtainable for any group that goes into the old content, simply finding another seven people who want to do the old fights without being level synced is a challenge in of itself. But since those necessary items won't drop with the undersize party option, the majority of players are finishing their farming the easy way for ponies or glamours, while those few who are seeking the furnishings are left with little hope of ever getting the necessary items.
Then you have the furnishings requiring 24 person raids, which have always been rare, and as they have a 24 person requirement to even enter, the ability to easily access the duty for even a chance at the drop is increasingly difficult. This content is on the verge of being dead, and every item that you can get from it is going to become irreplaceable. Then compound that fact with the loss of the furnishings if they're removed or if the plot they're associated to gets reclaimed, it becomes reasonable to predict that these decorations may eventually vanish from the servers entirely.
Please, I kindly request that the development team looks into a solution for the problems that this sort of furnishing currently faces. I'm sure that there is a solution out there to fix either end of the dilemma that home owners currently face in game, and your subscribers would be grateful.
