Techno De Chocobo!
How about bring back mizuta to do the rest of the tracks? I like uematsu but mizuta had the real gems in ffxi...

Yeah.. actually mizuta > uematsu imo.
Who ever is complaining about FFXIV ost is out of their "kweh" mind. FFXIV's music sits on top XI music in some angle and particularly the solo/dungeon ones. If anything that needs changing is limsa's sound track. That sound track annoys me the most.

Agreed! nice songs, specially Ronfaure. How about bring back mizuta to do the rest of the tracks? I like uematsu but mizuta had the real gems in ffxi...

Im trying to see it from your perspective but I just /fail to understand you.
too bad that Ronfaure (prolly the most famous ffxi track) is Uematsu's. Don't get me wrong though, I love mizuta's and wild onions composer's works.
But Uematsu is just uncomperable. Heck, Nail of the Heavens makes a sountrack by itself, there's pretty much no track on the whole XI ost that can even lick it's feet, in my opinion.
Agree, but to put a finer point on it:How about bring back mizuta to do the rest of the tracks? I like uematsu but mizuta had the real gems in ffxi...

Uematsu's music and Yoshitaka Amano's art are an essential part of the branding in each FF game. But while their respective works each set the tone for the series, they aren't suited for the heavy lifting that is necessary in an MMO.
On the other hand, Mizuta's music and Akihiko Yoshida's art are the perfect style for hours of repetitive play and can fill out the core of the game without being overdone or repetitive.
It's the difference between frosting and cake.
