    I've had more healers and tanks who were woefully inadequate for Dusk Vigil alone than I can count on my hands and feet.

    I still remember one particular tank who was in NQ i70 Darksteel quite well...

    ...speaking of NQ stuff; I think SE should either lower the ilvl or shrink the gap between NQ and HQ stuff. NQ stuff is very misleading for less serious players. For example, i115 NQ stuff is worse than blue/HQ i90 stuff.



    And don't get me started on the trash DPS in BisHM.

    There's a lot SE could do to improve the Item Level valuations, both on individual pieces of gear (especially the difference between NQ & HQ, but some other cases as well) and on how the average is calculated (which should really be a weighted average with more important slots counting for more of the overall score).

    Sure, def and mdef is not so good on NQ, but the 2 main stats str and vit are still better on the ilevel 115 gear (around 10 points more than on the ilevel 90 gear)

    NQ is average gear with stats not on the ilevel specific cap (can increase the stats still with materia), while on HQ the stats are on the ilevel specific cap or near of it (materias of the same stats give +0, use materia to increase a new stat)
