    I'd rather see the Wyvern as a chocobo-like Companion at best, an minion at least, and not as a DRG-tied pet.

    But we do have a wyvern minion. It's called Midgardsormr and you get it in 2.4-2.5? So many people seem to have forgotten this... happens in the quest that unlocks the Keeper of the Lake dungeon.
