Why do people want trash?

There are many instances in games with raids that have trash mobs that require a decent amount of thinking to clear through, making the encounter comparable to a mini boss of sorts. That's the type of trash people are asking for.

Atomos is more what people consider a mini-boss than trash, hell if it was WoW it would likely be considered a raid boss if they buffed it a little.
