You still did not address the coats, twines, and dips to come from normal void ark. People will be swimming in 210 gear from faceroll content. There is no reason to not have a harder version that gives similar 210 rewards. That's a pretty vague statement that doesn't really describe how much harder or more difficult they're actually going to be. From experience with how they've described the difficult of content before it's released in the past, I don't think it's wise to assume the difficulty at all before one gets to actually try the content themselves.Plus, Notorious Monsters had low drop rates for gear. So much so that you had to beat them dozens or more times to get the items that you wanted. Are there weekly lock outs? Are there not? We don't know how difficult it is to get the 210 items from Exploration yet, it should be comparable to other means of obtaining that ilevel of gear. And as of right now, that means the incredibly difficult Alex Savage. I don't think a slightly harder 24 man raid would really compare to Alex Savage at the moment, and I don't know enough about Exploration to compare it yet.
Have they said when they're going to add the gob-upgrades to Void ark? Is it going to be immediately? Wouldn't that immediately invalidate the void ark gear in the same dungeon and time it was introduced? Or are they going to add them further down the road in 3.1 similar to how they added Carbon-upgrades to tower climbs later in the patch?
I don't think making 210 vastly easier to get immediately when 3.1 drops is a good idea.
But the Ark isn't even out yet and you already want a hard version
how do you know it won't be nigh-impossible (of course prior experience pretty much tells us it's not but Squeenix could always go "JK" and make it super hard on us)

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.

I hate it when you put dye-able gear on "hardmode' dungeons. I think this is a terrible idea. Hardmode should reward better gear, not better appearance.
My post recommends both a ilvl boost and dyability to the void ark gear. 210 and dyable.
I said in the future. I was just using the 1st in the series, void ark, as an example. We all know void ark is going to be alt tabbed 1-2-3-combo netflix easy.
You can expect gob coats day one, for sure, without question. It's been that way with every ct patch that had upgrade items. The gobtwine could go either way, either included on day one or pushed back to a later patch . The only item no one can make a good prediction on is the gob dip. It's a new upgrade item, so who knows if it will even show up in void ark.Have they said when they're going to add the gob-upgrades to Void ark? Is it going to be immediately? If you reference any CT styled patch, upgrade items are vastly easier to get. Especially with hunts. If SE follows it's trends from ARR, come 3.1, hunts will provide twines and coats and you can grind out 210 gear easily.

Yeah, except 10 ilvl isn't worth the effort. I would just do easy, or not do it.
An extra 1-2 strength isn't appealing to me. This is why I hate the concept of "Hardmodes"
There should just be one mode of a dungeon, with everything given. The deeper you go the harder it should get.
I like shiny effects, traits or procs or set gear in my game. The other pieces really don't make that much of a difference, except on weapons. However, as far as I know the current "24-mans" do not drop weapons so that doesn't matter.

We should probably experience the content before asking for more before its even released.
Then just do normal, you're not required or needed for HM.Yeah, except 10 ilvl isn't worth the effort. I would just do easy, or not do it.

There is no actual instance progression in this game like you want. It's either arena boss fights or an entire face roll instance.
If you don't want to work for higher ivl and dyable gear, you don't have to. Very simple here, bub.
We all know Void Ark will be an alt tabbed 1-2-3 combo affair, spare us the "lets wait and see" attitude. We know it will be a boring snooze fest just like every 24-man that came before it.
The developers have already said it's on par with the difficulty of the CT series.
