Now if you want to start a thread that asks, "Does instant transportation effect game realism?" then your thread is validated.

It really is that simple.

As far as the "pointlessness" of the thread goes, it's not. There's been a lot of discussion on the topic. Unfortunately a lot of that was misguided and incorrect.
