Now that is something I can completely agree with ^^
While I do like that getting a house is a bit of a challenge (from the money and availability aspect) the ratio of houses to players is significantly low. Though... I would say I would rather they eliminate the ability to buy a personal house (I know many will disagree). OR if they just made it a requirement for multiple people to get a house together (would help once again). I don't see why you can't just add people to the availability of being able to use a house. Even if they made it rent based (something where the players who do not own the house, must pay a fee to stay, so then even alt's must be played or be booted from said house). Granted, then this could get abused for gil farming I guess... (but come on... not like you can't just make an alt, give gil to an FC mate or put it in Company Chest, then get it on another character).

But like I said, these people don't own a house and I assure you they'll be the first to realize "OMG 45 days too short" about a month after owning one and realizing that you can actually spend months without entering it despite playing daily.
And no... most of the people who argue this are actually house owners... They just don't own 50 houses (because those who do just HAVE to have all of them xD). The people who are arguing that 45 days is enough are the one's that only have what they use and use it on a constant basis.

And yes, I COULD decide to log in daily and not visit my house. But I tend to like my house and using it. Even if I didn't though, it's not hard to teleport directly to it and enter for 2 seconds.
