Negative GM Support Feedback

3 times this week I have had to make GM reports for incidents happening in the game. 1 time on my level 60 DRK and 2 on my Dragoon. All 3 times I sent a GM report about it and a GM did not want to talk to me on 2 of the 3 occasions.

Today I decided to queue for leveling roulette on my 58 DRG and got into Vault. As soon as the dungeon started the tank checked my gear on my DRG and did not say anything. After beating the first boss I suspected from the way they were playing that they wanted to kick me because the group was moving at an average pace and not at a speed run pace like people usually like. I also suspect it was a premade group of 3 people. Because of this I sent a GM report before they kicked me stating that I think they are going to kick me and eventually they did.

A little over 3 hours pass and the GM finally responded to me by sending me their copy/paste message and this picture is what happened.

Had a longer explanation of things but there's a 1000 character limit on here. So how does he know everything when there was little to nothing said in the chat and they could have been communicating through 3rd party voice chat?

While I agree you shouldn't have been kicked because of your gear, you didn't give the GM any real information besides "I got kicked from this party". Did you give them any names, time of day? As a side note, do you have any proof they were running a parser? Just because you were removed does not mean they were using one. You're allowed to be upset over it, but remember to not let your emotions get to you and say things that may not be true.

If you looked at the pictures that's what I asked the GM on my reply to him. I did not add any other details because absolutely nothing was said to me about the way I played. I just suspected they were going to kick me because of the way they were playing. I also sent that report about 5-8 minutes before they actually kicked me because I've had 1 instance where a GM responded right away so I was hoping this GM would have responded before they kicked me to see firsthand that they were kicking me for no reason other than DPS. The cues that made me believe I was going to get kicked was because they were standing around a few times and because when I didn't roll on loot the tank said someone is afk (showing that they were premade) and the other DPS asked me to roll the brd/mch boots because he wanted it (but he actually passed it and it fell to my inventory when time expired) so they were just pretty much standing around waiting to kick me.

Actually a lot of people use parsers. I've also heard it's allowed as long as people don't harrass other players about their DPS. Join any raid people aren't afraid to say they use parsers or to call out numbers. The only way to prove someone has a parser is if they actually state it otherwise there's no way to know.

Also like to add that GMs don't really do much. Reporting is just a tool for the victim to feel some sort of justification. I've heard people say that if someone is reported enough times they will get banned or suspended, but there are people who still play that have been reported several times over several different instances. I say you should just join groups with a friend and vote kick people out too because they don't really do anything in the game about it lol

ive got one report for parsing although i dont use it just saw well geared group 195-205 and dung takes like 35mins. I just stated for their gear it takes too long. Its not always parser but even experience can do the trick.
Although i would suggest to prioritize kicked players in que. If you get kicked twice in row, ok than nothing but if you get kicked as dps you will spend half an hour in que again.

I'm on PS4 and I can say for seeing horribad DPS theres no parser needed. there is that beautiful little hatebar that healps a crapload and also time stuff takes to die gives you enough information to tell if somone is not doing much. In dugeons there is no need to speak up though except you wipe.

As long as they are used in the right context, they are "okay", but no matter how you slice it parsers are against the ToS, heck even wtfast is against the ToS. That said, he was in the right to report them, but he can't make baseless accusations without viable proof. Best thing to do in this deal is report, give names, date, time, and then respond to the GM, if they require anymore information, and leave it at that. Its out of your hands.

Dont have crap gear. You didnt said what you had on or anything but you should, and people expect you, to have level apropiate gear after level50. If you are level 58 DRG then have level 58 gear, at least the left side and weapon. I can only imagine you were still wearing level 50-54 gear, dont need any parser to know who is the problem.

I was leveling DRG for my retainer. It's like some people don't read O.o I stated I queued for leveling roulette, I did not choose to enter Vault. Anyway, I did have the Vault's dragoon weapon and a mixed of ilevel 120-136 gear. If what you said is fine to do I'll start vote kicking people out as well because I've just been leaving them in my groups and running the dungeons slowly especially in Expert where they have 160 gear /shrug. So far most people seem to be leaning that it is fine to vote kick people out if the dungeon is not a speed run so I'll just do that on my main jobs as well.
