Keep in mind for the practical melds, I'm assuming we're in 3.1 and SE has implemented a reasonable way to acquire tier V crafting materia.
Well...those practical melds are unaffordable for most crafters out there. Control IV is around 100k on my server...melding two of them with about 7% success rate is something I'm not even going to consider (we're probably talking about 10mln gil of lost materia there).
Actually I feel like the MH is the only lvl180 crafing gear that it's worth your red tokens.
