It does not defy logic or reason at all.

Ragnarok is a very full world and every day I have to queue to get into it despite being my starter world back in 1.0 for example (since the OP kept talking about Ragnarok)...so it makes sense to not allow free transfers to the world unless space is freed up on a large scale, it is possible a free transfer to it could be possible IF enough people transfer off it but not until then. Currently keeping it a charged for service to transfer to it is a way to better manage or reduce that influx while the server is near or at capacity.

It also makes sense to allow free transfers off the data centre for non-EU players which will open up enough space for that potential future free transfer to the worlds, but again you should not put the carriage before the horse. Put simply SE are doing it the smart way and there is logic and reason behind it, allow free transfers off the server for non-EU players first and foremost while not allowing for free transfers to it unless enough space is opened up as an end result of how many leave which is currently unknown as to how many will do so.

It's a completely different subject that the fact that SE allows free transfers to worlds that are already full also defies logic and reason. Not allowing new characters to be created on those servers means jack s××t if at the same time everyone is allowed to transfer to those same servers whenever. They could lock individual servers down and not allow transfers to them - in general, this is not affected by region or the moving of a servers, at all.

The thing is, European players have been pushed to the side for too long (do take a look around and see how even much smaller companies can operate actual European servers from the launch of their games). Now this move is happening, actual European servers for the actual European players, and lo and behold, everyone and their grandmothers who are not European get a free ticket to adjust to it - people whose gaming experience has already been "desirable" so far as well. But not the actual European players, whom this is being done for. Not the actual European players, who have already been suffering a sub-par gaming experience for years. No, the actual European players, who are affected one way or another, are expected to pay even more to adjust to this new situation, to benefit from something that is being done for their sake. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but we all have been paying the same sub fee all this time, everyone's money is already in this move as much as anyone else's.

    Yeah, completely ok indeed..........
