Finally a game I can play where they aren't afraid to put guys in pretty outfits and robes and this kind of topic pops up... I really hope SE doesn't take this the wrong way and implement gendered gear. I really like the fact that a good amount of the outfits look almost identical on male and female characters. It's nice because it breaks a lot of stereotypes and doesn't force men and women to look different. I can dress as feminine or masculine as I want no matter who my character is.

I'm okay with adding more variety but not if it means "Men = coats and pants. Women = Robes". if guys are going to get non robe options that piece of armor should look identical on women and vice versa.

Just a bit of info, The always thing i made mention about wasn't a commercial. It was an AD Promotion to their "like a girl" campain the big boss lady was hosting to help raise awareness to how demeaning the phrase is, by showcasing what boys, teen boys , teen girls felt "like a girl" meant as well as showcsasing girls showing they are not weak. It was to help raise self esteem cuz with social media being so prominate a preteen and early teen of a girls life is more hectic with more insecurity because the whole world is watching you now a days. I just made mention he may weant to revamp the title nothing more, nor did i say as such out of offence.

With a lil creativety you can use any peice of gear you can as glamor to make just about any look you want. not all mage onoly gear are robes or long robes. You also have tons of glam only stuff, GC attier, hunt glamor plus gold saucer stuff.

I'm all for more options as i said so before, but im also saying acting like their are 0 options isn't cool and kinda insulting.

with current options i can make my lalafell look anyway i like from battle warrior to a goth lolita ass kicker, to a macho healer. And both me and my character are women.

Simple put i can make my lalafell look as feminine or as masculine as cute or as bad ass as i want with what we have now. For me more options would be more options.

Reading over, it's so fucking hypocritical.

"I want to wear clothes that are deemed "the norm" for males".

"YOU DON'T LIKE OUR SNOWFLAKE OPINION OF CLOTHES? YOU ARE JUST A DUDEBRO WHO'S INSECURE".

.... or they want to wear normal clothes. It's funny clothes trigger these people.

Glamor is there for a reason. Not all whm gear looks girly to me, its actually quite nice looking. Very gender neutral imo. I play guys in mmos though because I got tired of the "feminine" gear being all of some string and 2 pieces of plate. I thought this game would be the same back in 1.0 but thankfully its not (all the time anyway) and is quite equal with its gear. So if you want something other than robes, which is traditional for mages AND normal attire for males in general in fantasy worldwide, simply glamour it. There's tons of gear out there to choose from.

I think this just boils down to giving healers a few more options besides full robes. Even some more half-robes would be better. I'd take some pants instead of it always being a skirt. I usually glamour a bliaud with a short skirt or tights, but I'm female and I'm not sure that bliauds look good on males. I'd say offer more glamour stuff with pants, but my armory/inventory/retainer can't handle it at the moment.

I... fail to see what this has to do with the topic of "too many robes for healers and casters" O.o It's about clothes, not sexuality.
