The problem is not with whm specifically. The problem is EVERY freaking gear set seems to be based on robes. Lets have some gear that looks like it is designed for the task.

Take Brd for example. Even with WM, it is still a mobile job. I'm afraid of tripping myself up every time I move in the damn robes! How about some form fitting leather that moves with me? How about some boots that don't come up over the knee and look like fisherman's hip waders - boots that actually allow you to see the pants?

Final fantasy wise, yea they're. Also yoshida said straight out on a PLL AF2 was more feminine due it being designed after the original white mage which is female.

Take tank gear for example it's generally very masculine (especially WAR) but people think it looks fine on females while an MRoe in WHM gear looks like a "Pretty Princess"

When I get home I'll show you a side-by-side comparison. The hat might be new, but the robe itself is not. It's an old design recolored with some extra doodads.

I just googled it and "healer robes" for samples. There are quite a few robes that are similar to it. Here's one. I can find more when I get home, if you like.

I understand how you see some similarities, because I do as well. However, my statement still stands. The White Griffin gear is not a re-color as you called it. It's still a new design, despite it having some similarities to other robes.

This I agree with. The SCOB healing and casting gear is the best looking gear in the game. It's the only gear I plan on keeping forever for future use.
