I'm patient with most but when I'm explaining the fights in detail and doing live call outs during battle for said new players- only for them to ignore everything I'm typing- that's not only a bad player but a horribly innatentive human. Nothing more frustrating than that to me. It's amazing some people are able to hold a job outside of the game with that level of ignorance.

In my opinion healing is the least demanding role in four man instances. You could use nothing but Cure I throughout the whole instance and no one will think differently of you. After all, that's a healer's job first and foremost.

But most healers don't know how to perform under pressure because the dungeons don't require them to do more than the bare minimum. Because of this, they tend to not use any of the gazillion buffs they have to keep people alive. My worst gripe is when WHMs keep medica II up like its a DoT or something. :I

Type of Bad players from a Raider PoV :

    A) Bad players skill-wise, you dont want them in your EX or Savage party
Somehow bad players still able to make their way into 60 (even have ilv of 190+), Characteristics :
    - They don't listen on mechanics explanation, and when being told they're doing their roles badly they'll use the "I play how i want" card

    - Won't response when being told that their dps / hps is too low and they need to work on their rotations, but in the end they will continue doing low dps / hps.

    - They don't master their class, don't watch videos on EX fight, and somehow think everything will be OK because they're only 1/8 of the team.

    B) Bad players attitude-wise, you're always conflicted whether to take them into your raid because of their usefulness or ignore them because they are jerks, Characteristic :
    - They complain, nag, ????hing about everything that goes wrong on the raid
    - They believe they have mastered 100% of their class and focused on blaming someone else when the fight goes wrong
    - They demoralize your party by saying things like "We won't make it", "can we just end now?", "how much longer are we going to send ourselves to wipe?"
    - On a fight, if 1 dps died, he'll spam "WIPE WIPE WIPE" while the fight itself still have high chance of winning

If you find someone being bad in both ways, just BL them and try to have fun without them

A lot of what's been said.

but also Tanks who don't wait for mechanics to be explained when someone has stated they are new.

I'm not super coordinated as-is on top of lagging campus internet and surprise mechanics just make my likelihood of dying THAT much higher.

It gets old sometimes carrying the other DPS through experts when I solo queue DF them, makes a nice change of pace when the other DPS is competent. Like one Nevereap run, the BRD did not pass 300 dps. Even with Wanderers up. averaging 270-280 DPS. Like how? A MNK when I was doing levelling roullete on NIN in dismal derphold. Did not use any fist stances at all even when reminded, would not move out of any AE either to the point that the healer refused to waste mana on them anymore. A 60 BLM spamming fire 3 till empty, then waiting on mana ticks, not casting at all, then casting blizz 1 till full mana to start fire 3 spam again.

Advice is ignored, in fact zero chat from them whatsoever, not even a hi in reply at the start.

Worse ones are thospe who fail the most, but due to their ego cannot see they make mistakes and direct the blame onto everyone else instead.

I define a bad player as someone who doesn't want or try to improve at the game yet still demands to get rewards for playing the game. Because lets face it, it's really the only way you could be truly bad at this game. The bar isn't that high. otherwise it's lack of research or ignorance of mechanics and I'm not just referring to instances themselves.

DRK who don't turn Darkside on because "it costs too much mana".
Players who wait for their FC to have raids on farm mode to finally join and expect to be carried.
Players who think BRD or MCH shouldn't be in any raid party.

Now we only have one way of acquiring ilv210 equips, with raiding. Not everyone likes raiding (like me), I don't have time, I don't have patience to "progress" trough anything and I don't have an open schedule where I can have day and hour to play a game (really, this isn't work, knowing that people have raid hours programmed doesn't make sense in my mind), and yes, I demand casual content where I can be rewarded dor playing the game for the amount of time I have. And I'm glad to say that SQEX heard the pleas of the casual player base with the explorations and its drops.

These days a bad player is anyone who doesn't do exactly what you'd do in the same situation. The definitions are being stretched so thin that technically everyone is a bad player to someone.
