You have to time it though. For about 2-3 seconds after landing they are still un-targetable and won't take damage if it hits then.

LB3 has a cast time.

If you start casting it right as they land, you'll hit.

If you have lb3 you can hit them when they're spread out. If you have lb1-2 it's easier to just use melee on the one with lower higher health.

Using melee LB on the one with lower health has resulted in more wipes than any other use of the LB I've seen, including not using it at all. It's better to use it on the one with higher health so you don't insta-enrage the one with 5-10% left.

Went to A2, told them I was new, no respond (was made mostly of frenchies so no surprise), got kicked after 2nd failed attempt, went in again with different DF group, got it down from 1st time.

Just because some people are Frenchies or Japanese or whatever that's not American doesn't make them to automatically shut their mouths.

I've seen a lot of 'Murica that are silent as hell, only to open their mouths to.. *shocks* flame when it's failing. <-- see the trend here?

Glad you were able to meet good peeps that were helpful along the way. Hope you'll do the same for me and every new 'first' when we"ll be joining you for Alexander, one day.

I find the frenchies stereotypical comment highly ignorant, and the ignorance probably went both ways considering they were paired with a guy named "arabian wolf"

I'll let you take your own advice and direct you to Google to investigate various styles of information retention and learning. Not everybody picks up a new skill through reading text or watching a video - others need to actually experience things first hand and then learn how to do something correctly.

As a tank myself I'm rather happy to explain tactics if need be since it serves as a refresher for myself - especially if I'm tackling content I haven't touched in a while - and because it usually results in a smoother run than letting new players run in blind. Paying careful attention to the 'new player bonus' is important - if I don't see it then I don't bother asking if anybody is new.

Lol, no? These are about as braindead easy as it gets. Here, step-by-step on what tank needs to do per turn:
A1) Voke the add (Or main boss, depending on the other tank). Take it to the other side.

Wipe. Did not explain enough, aggro'd adds like a good tank. Got shrunk. WUT DO.

A2) Grab adds, bring them together. Pop some buffs on Jagds.

Wipe. Did not explain enough. Cleaved group. Aggro'd all adds, and died. WUT DO.

A3) Pretend you're a DPS (Chances are the other tank knows whats up).
If not: Face Man away from group. Face Hand towards Group.

Wipe. Did not explain enough. Healers died to tether. Add came (also a hand!) and I faced towards group. WUT DO.

A4) If MT: Just Tank, maybe help grab balls. Pop a buff for Discoid in last Phase. If OT: Get ready to duo an add. Also help grab balls.

Wipe. Did not explain enough. Touched healers while grabbing balls and got a debuff that I spread to the melee. WUT DO.

Oh look, took me about 10 secs per Turn, must be hardz.
