It's not that lalafell are children, but that they look like children. The fact that female lalafell, despite having a full bust slider, has no bust to speak of says volumes to this regard. And... holy necrosis, why revive this thread? It's pretty clear why people want to wear other (Highlander) RSE smallclothes... and we can really live without that.
I want the green male Au'Ra pants, but at the same time, I guess I can understand that the racial armour is one of the many things that makes the races unique.
Well, yes. But on the other hand, it's really more "culture specific". I mean, it has been mentioned in Race/Naming info that if you want to, you can give your character a name suitable for another race, and pretend they were adopted by that race. (Paraphrased, since it's a long time since I read that info.) So... if your Lalafell was adopted by Miqo'te, especially early enough to have a Miqo'te name, why would said Lalafell wear Lalafell-culture based clothes? Wouldn't it make more sense for them to wear Miqo'te-culture based clothes?
Same with the hempen set. They could easily make "Elezen Undershirt" and "Midlander Chemise" etc. Genderlocked, but available for all races.
Is it better to revive a thread, or to create an entirely new one? In the latter case, the thread creator would only get to hear, "We've seen threads like this before, why make another one?" *shrugs*
And I disagree. It's not clear why people want to wear other Hempen/Starter gear than that of their own race. For most, it's simply "diversity". For others, it's "the [race] hempen top is the best and would look soooo good on me" (whether it's the miqo'te undershirt, or the highlander set, or the elezen chemise, or the new au ra sets). For a rare few, it's "omnom eye candy" or "mwahaha, I'll creep you out". And it's not only the highlander set people are after either ^^;
In my opinion, the male miqo'te hempen top is still the best "oriental/harem" top, especially if you don't want the hip shawl that comes with the thavnairian vest. (And... while the hip shawl is fine on most races, Auri males have such *cough* "strong thighs" that the shawl only makes my hips appear even more childbearing.)

What do you even mean by attractive? Just so know, you can get way creepier when playing a cat girl if you want to go that route, just saying.

Sure we can live without that. But why not having this option ? It wouldn't hurt anyone, it would just add something nice for people who are interested in it. I don't understand how some people can be against an idea that would not hurt anyone, and furthermore actually benefit to the game (in that specific case it would add more diversity).
And I don't think the majority of people want it for the Highlander set. Female highlanders would be much more played if so. They have the biggest breasts, the sluttiest hempen set, and overall the highest potential of hotness/sexyness. But they're still not that much played, people prefer Miqo'tes, Midlanders and Lalas (and Au Ra because they're still pretty brand new and they look damn awesome). I personally want that option for the Midlander set more than anything.

Well, Miq'ote can get away with it, as they are pretty much full grown humans, they just have furry ears and tails. You really can't any creepier then saying a lala is "attractive" without some serious leers, as they have the exact same appearance as a child, regardless of what lore tells you their age is.

We need more gender and race specific gear, not less.
