Yes, I would love me some Terra Branford hairstyle and dress.
What? I'm not biased either, get out
I just want the hairstyle on the mog station. I've never played 13 so I don't care about the event itself, but I personally wasn't playing when it happened last year. I mean if they don't, it's whatever, but it'd be nice. It's a cute hairstyle.
I'd agree on this, with one exception. The tattoo's entire purpose is to mark people that stuck with them through 1.0. That and ((Obviously)) the slightly different story outline can be lost forever to us who joined after they made FFXIV cool again. It really is pointless. Especially all of this screaming of "YOU WERE NOT THERE!!!" that comes about when requesting that previously obtainable items be made again. This includes past promo events and yes even 1.0 items.
Timelines in games are not exactly linear nor do they correlate to real life. You can have players that are just beginning the MSQ interacting with players that had completed the MSQ in its entirely. Time in the gameverse is not the same as time in the metaverse.
I am 100% for making all items available through some means. Time-gating items and making them forever unobtainable again is really... silly. And it just makes new players feel bad/unable to complete collections.
Also, to the timeline, yeah, the real world timeline would pretty much HAVE to be considered separate from the game timeline. General belief is that since our arrival in the city states, we've spent a little under a year, I think? Come October and we'll have had three Halloweens.

It marks nothing other than they logged on once during a specific timeline. Which could have been during the free campaign. Logging in at a specific time =/= support. That is all I am going to say about this.
Make everything available. If something should be special or show support, make it really hard to get and/or expensive.
These threads always have the
" i want" in their op. Its not about the community, its all about you and what you want. Not what would be reasonable but what you want and solely that.
If they had to then cash shop would be the only way without making half the playerbase go omg lightning event again.
"Users with service accounts that paid for at least 90 cumulative days of subscription for the original version of FFXIV between January 6, 2012 and suspension of 1.0's billing services on September 29, 2012 became eligible for Legacy benefits in A Realm Reborn."
Chaz should change "stuck through 1.0" to "chose to pay to play FFXIV 1.0 between X and Y to support the creation of A Realm Reborn," but I also felt that I needed to point out that players with Legacy benefits were required to pay to play FFXIV 1.0 once the free campaign had ended.

The tattoo is not a part of the legacy status benefits, they are separate things. It is not accountwide and was available to any and all characters that logged on during the specific time, regardless of their financial contribution."Users with service accounts that paid for at least 90 cumulative days of subscription for the original version of FFXIV between January 6, 2012 and suspension of 1.0's billing services on September 29, 2012 became eligible for Legacy benefits in A Realm Reborn."

Don't you just love how new players come along and expect stuff to be handed to them cause they have OCD or something about collecting stuff least that what looks like this thread is turning into to.
To clarify don't mean handed to like they do nothing for it, I mean people always running around "I wasn't there for X reason so it should be brought back" Throw it in the cash shop I have nothing against that except the 1.0 tattoo but there like a 50 page thread about that so not going to start on that here.

No one asked for anything to be handed to them, we we are asking either for them to be added to the cash shop (where we can use our real world hard-earned earned money to buy it and further 'support' SE which seems to be a recurring thing in these threads) or to have it occur again in game so new players can do the exact same thing that those that currently have it but only at a different time IRL (so that they can "Be there" as is the other common theme in these threads)

The tattoo was given to characters who cleared the quest "United We Stand (Grand Company)" Sitting around for 90 days would not have given you the Legacy Mark
