Fun fact of the day: Most people who hate XIII haven't actually played it.

(Note: There are a good chunk of people who have legitimate complaints about the game who have played it, but 80% of the hate is "I heard it's a hallway simulator and Lightning is a girl I'm not playing as a girl gross ew")

I played FF13. Among other issues, it is a hallway simulator up until the 11th chapter when you get a wide open area with next to nothing to do. And Lightning being a girl isn't why I hate her. She is a creator's pet with a dull, uninteresting cardboard personality and backstory.

But hey, that's just my opinion. Nothing to do with nostalgia googles, FF13 was just so deeply flawed that I consider Bravely Default to be more FF13 than the one we got.

According too the wiki it was listed as part of the anniversary event last year.

These special events should stay special and not end up on the Mog Station...that really is a slap in the face for those who were around for it. They repeated this thing like two more times that is more than it should have been. If you miss out, you miss out. These events usually run longer than 7 days so the only thing that will jack you up is a two week long vacation...then hey bring your device to bust it out in ten or 15 minutes.

No they aren't. It did come back as part of the one year anniversary but it wasn't exclusive to the one year anniversary. They also brought back the DQ9 event as well.

I do NOT want those events to return again though.

I don't really care if it comes up again or not. What I would like though is if the stuff you obtained from the events were account bound. I was a little depressed that I couldn't have the hair and clothes on a char I created after the events had passed, though luckily it came back again and I was able to grab them during that, but in the future if I decide to make a character on another server or something I'll be out of luck for that character.

I do wish I could get the stuff from events I was legitimately at for my Alt without having to pay another month's worth of subscription though.

On topic, I sortof liked the Lightning event. At least the middle two Fates, as far as Fates go.

The Third Fate was hilarious. All physical attacks, nothing too hard to manage, has one spell that can be silenced. Get 'im Selene.

They also brought back the DQ9 event as well.

Dragon Quest X, actually. It was a cross-over event for the three SE MMO's (FFXI, FFXIV and DQX).
